The MPESB Excise Constable application window is not currently open. The Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board’s listing for the Excise Constable Direct and Backlog Recruitment Test-2024 shows that applications ran from February 15 through March 1, 2025. The exam period has passed, and MPESB lists the result as hosted on February 5, 2026. Check the official MPESB pages below for any later recruitment notice; the available records do not establish a current opening or confirm 248 posts for a current cycle.

When did the MPESB Excise Constable application window close?

For the 2024 Direct and Backlog Recruitment Test, MPESB lists the application period as February 15–March 1, 2025. That deadline has passed. The same official dashboard lists the exam period as September 9–21, 2025, and the result as hosted February 5, 2026. View the MPESB student dashboard.

Is a new Excise Constable application window open?

The MPESB homepage snapshot reviewed, last updated October 7, 2026, lists other 2026 updates but no current Excise Constable application window. This reflects the notices displayed at that time; a later announcement could change the status. Check the MPESB homepage and its Important Notices and Advertisement to Candidates page for new official announcements.

What does “248 posts” refer to?

The official records available here do not confirm 248 posts as a current vacancy total. Do not rely on that number to decide whether to apply. If MPESB announces another recruitment, confirm the post count in that specific cycle’s official notification and rulebook.

What to verify if MPESB announces another recruitment

Requirements and application terms can differ between recruitment cycles. Use the new official notice and rulebook—not assumptions based on the completed 2024 cycle—to verify:

  • Post count and whether the notice covers direct recruitment, backlog vacancies, or both.
  • Application opening and closing dates, plus any correction window.
  • Eligibility, age limits, domicile rules, and category-specific conditions.
  • Application fees and payment instructions.
  • Selection stages, including any written examination or physical assessment.
  • The official application link and deadlines stated by MPESB.
