Kohl’s Black Friday 2025 event has ended. The retailer advertised Early Access from Nov. 7–9 and Black Friday Week from Nov. 23–29, with stores scheduled to open at 5 a.m. local time on Friday, Nov. 28. Its release listed category discounts and promotional Kohl’s Cash, but did not establish every item’s final price or local stock.
When were Kohl’s Black Friday 2025 sales?
Kohl’s announced two shopping periods in its Nov. 7, 2025 release: a three-day Early Access event and a seven-day Black Friday Week. The dates and promotions below describe that past event, not current offers.

Coupon eligibility, exclusions, and Kohl’s Cash conditions applied. Kohl’s Cash was a promotional reward with terms, not an unconditional cash discount; the release alone does not establish the final price for a particular shopper or product.
What deals did Kohl’s advertise?
The release highlighted selected styles and categories rather than a complete item-by-item ad. These examples were promotional claims published in November 2025, not independently audited savings or prices still available now.

These figures describe advertised category offers, not guaranteed discounts on every product in each category. The announcement did not verify item-level prices, inventory at individual stores, or whether a specific offer was available online versus in store. For a meaningful comparison, check the product’s actual price and availability and review coupon exclusions and reward terms.
What time did Kohl’s open on Black Friday?
Kohl’s said stores would be closed on Thanksgiving Day and open at 5 a.m. local time on Black Friday, Nov. 28, 2025. The company cautioned that hours could vary by location. For a visit now, check the current Kohl’s store locator; the archived 2025 schedule is not a guide to present-day hours. Kohl’s seasonal-hours FAQ also directs shoppers to check the nearest store because holiday hours can be affected: Seasonal Store Hours & Openings.

How did the first-customer Kohl’s Cash giveaway work?
Kohl’s advertised promotional Kohl’s Cash worth $5–$100 for the first 200 customers at each store, while supplies lasted, plus a chance for ten shoppers nationwide to win $10,000. The company described Holiday Quest as having more than $1 million in prizes, including a $100,000 cash grand prize; those were announced prize amounts, not reported outcomes.
The detailed terms for the Black Friday in-store offer said cards were distributed at participating locations beginning at opening, one per person on Black Friday, and required same-day in-store redemption. Listed denominations were $5, $10, $25 and $100; the reward was not legal tender, and unused value was forfeited. The offer was limited to the 2025 event and is no longer available. What the 2025 ad can—and cannot—tell you
Kohl’s announcement is useful for understanding the event schedule, advertised categories and stated promotional terms. It does not establish what a given item ultimately cost a shopper after coupon eligibility, exclusions and reward conditions, nor whether an item was in stock at a particular store. Kohl’s chief marketing officer Christie Raymond described the event as offering savings and ways to earn and redeem Kohl’s Cash; that was the company’s promotional framing, not independent evidence of customer savings.
