Subtracting the listed liabilities from the listed assets gives approximately ₹255.88 crore in declared net assets. That is arithmetic on a self-declared filing—not an independently audited estimate of his complete current net worth.

|---|---|---|
| Total assets | ₹305.55 crore | ₹59.69 crore in movable assets and ₹245.86 crore in immovable assets. |
| Liabilities | ₹49.67 crore | Debts and other liabilities reported in the filing. |
| Assets minus liabilities | Approximately ₹255.88 crore | A calculation from the two declared totals; the affidavit does not label this figure “net worth.” |
| Income, FY 2023–24 | ₹78.90 crore | An income-tax-return figure listed in the affidavit archive, not a measure of accumulated wealth. |
MyNeta’s archived affidavit record says the information is a candidate’s self-declared filing made during the election and cautions that current status may differ. It is a dated snapshot, not a live balance sheet or independent valuation.
Why this is not a definitive net-worth valuation
“Net worth” usually means the value of assets minus liabilities at a particular time. The ₹255.88 crore figure follows that basic subtraction, but it inherits the scope and valuation limits of the affidavit. The filing is self-declared, and its archive does not establish that every relevant asset, business interest, or future income stream is included or independently valued.

The affidavit lists income sources including professional income, partnership-firm income, rental income, interest income, and agricultural income. Those categories describe reported sources; they do not by themselves establish the value of any unlisted rights or business interests. Nor should annual income be added to assets as if it were another balance-sheet item.
How the affidavit compares with other reported figures
Earlier filings and entertainment coverage offer other numbers, but they are not interchangeable with the 2025 filing’s asset and liability totals.
Rank #2
| Figure | Source and date | How to read it |
|---|---|---|
| About ₹176 crore in assets and ₹49.5 crore in liabilities | The Times of India, 2021 | An older election-filing snapshot, not a current estimate. |
| ₹388 crore | The Times of India, February 24, 2026 | A reported media estimate. The article does not provide a calculation reconciling it to the affidavit totals. |
| Around ₹450 crore | Financial Express, February 22, 2026 | A media estimate, not a figure shown to reconcile with the affidavit’s assets and liabilities. |
The two 2026 estimates differ from each other and from the affidavit-derived figure. Without a clear valuation date, asset scope, treatment of liabilities, and explanation of included business interests, they cannot be compared as though they measured the same thing. They should be described as outlet-reported estimates, not verified net worth.

The affidavit archive lists ₹78.90 crore in income for FY 2023–24. The New Indian Express also reported that an earlier affidavit showed ₹22.1 crore in income for FY 2019–20, alongside the ₹78.9 crore figure for FY 2023–24. These are income figures tied to specific financial years; they are not totals of assets after debts.

Which number should you use?
- For the strongest filing-based benchmark: use ₹305.55 crore in declared assets and ₹49.67 crore in declared liabilities from the 2025 affidavit.
- If you need one net-assets figure: say that subtracting the listed liabilities from listed assets gives approximately ₹255.88 crore, and identify it as an arithmetic derivation from a self-declared filing.
- When citing entertainment coverage: attribute ₹388 crore to The Times of India’s February 2026 estimate and around ₹450 crore to Financial Express’s February 2026 estimate. Do not present either as an established fact.
- When discussing income: keep the financial year attached to the amount and do not call annual income net worth.
