Kerala KMAT 2025 Session I applications closed on February 14, 2025, at 3:00 PM after CEE Kerala extended the deadline. The exam was scheduled for February 23, 2025. Both dates have passed, so this is not an active registration notice. Check the CEE Kerala announcements for any future-cycle dates.

KMAT 2025 application last date: when did registration close?

The Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala, extended the Session I application deadline to February 14, 2025, at 3:00 PM. The earlier “ends today” wording is stale and should not be treated as an invitation to register. The extension was announced on February 7, 2025, in the official Session I deadline notice.

KMAT 2025 Session I last date extended: what were the key dates?

Session Final application deadline Exam date
Session I February 14, 2025, at 3:00 PM, per CEE Kerala’s deadline extension notice February 23, 2025, per CEE Kerala’s Session I notification
Session II May 19, 2025, at noon, per CEE Kerala’s Session II registration page May 31, 2025, after rescheduling, per CEE Kerala’s notice

CEE Kerala administered both sessions. The Session II registration page listed its application period from April 19 through May 19, 2025, and the rescheduling and deadline-extension notice confirmed the revised exam date.

What was the KMAT 2025 Session I exam format?

According to CEE Kerala’s February 1, 2025 Session I notification, the test was a three-hour computer-based exam with 180 objective questions and a maximum score of 720. Candidates received four marks for a correct answer and lost one mark for an incorrect answer.

Who was eligible to apply for Session I?

CEE Kerala allowed Indian and non-Indian applicants to apply, but only Keralite candidates were eligible for reservation or fee concessions. There was no age restriction. Applicants needed a bachelor’s degree of at least three years in a listed or equivalent field and had to meet the minimum marks required by the university they wished to attend. Final-year students could apply if their results were declared before the 2025 MBA admission process. Eligibility documents were to be produced to colleges or universities at admission, not uploaded with the application. These were the historical Session I rules in CEE Kerala’s 2025 notification.

What were the qualifying marks and Session I application fees?

The minimum qualifying score was 72 out of 720 for General and SEBC candidates (10%) and 54 out of 720 for SC, ST and PD candidates (7.5%). Meeting this threshold did not guarantee admission; institutions could apply their own admission criteria.

The historical Session I application fee was ₹1,000 for General and SEBC candidates, ₹500 for SC candidates and no fee for ST candidates. The notification specified online payment, followed by uploading a recent passport-size colour photograph and signature and saving the acknowledgement page. It also said fees were non-refundable and could not be carried forward. These instructions applied to Session I in 2025, not to any future cycle.

Where should applicants check for the next KMAT Kerala application dates?

The CEE Kerala page for KMAT 2026 Session II notifications records a later completed cycle; it does not establish the date of the next upcoming application period. For future dates, deadlines and instructions, use CEE Kerala’s official announcements rather than an old “register here” notice.
