Is the Jharkhand High Court Assistant application still open?
No—not under the notice for the 55 Assistant vacancies. The High Court of Jharkhand’s Advertisement No. 01/Accts./2024 set the application period from 20 February to 22 March 2024. Its last date has passed. Check the High Court’s official recruitment page for any distinct, newer notice; do not treat the expired 2024 advertisement or its application link as current.
What the 2024 Assistant recruitment notice said
The High Court issued Advertisement No. 01/Accts./2024 for direct recruitment of Assistants. It advertised 55 vacancies and noted that the total could vary. The notice, dated 12 February 2024, listed these terms:
- Application period: 20 February 2024 to 22 March 2024.
- Minimum qualification: Graduation or an equivalent degree from a recognized university or institution, knowledge of working on computers, and sound knowledge of typing on a computer.
- Pay scale: Pay Matrix Level 7 under the 7th PRC, ₹44,900–₹1,42,400.

What happened after applications closed?
The High Court’s recruitment listing includes a computer skill test and viva-voce call letter, as well as a final result, for Assistants under Advertisement No. 01/Accts./2024. Those later entries are further evidence that the 55-post notice is not an upcoming application window. The listing text available here does not establish all stage dates or result details.

- Look for a notice with a distinct advertisement number and publication date, rather than relying on reposts of Advertisement No. 01/Accts./2024.
- Before applying, confirm the new notice’s application dates, vacancies, eligibility, pay, and official application route from that notice itself.
The official records cited here confirm the expired 2024 recruitment but do not establish whether a separate 2026 Assistant notice exists. A claim that applications close tomorrow needs to be tied to a verified newer advertisement.
