What came in the Deliciously Dope Dime Bag?
The meal paired a hand-sliced smoked ham and provolone sandwich with Jimmy Chips, a Jimmy Pickle spear and a Fudge Chocolate brownie. The sandwich came with Jalapeño Ranch, extra oregano-basil, sliced pickles, crispy jalapeños, fresh-sliced lettuce and tomato, according to Jimmy John’s announcement.
Despite the promotion’s name and 4/20 framing, the announcement describes restaurant food; it does not say cannabis was an ingredient or included product.
What did it cost, and how could customers order it?
Jimmy John’s advertised the meal for $10 in 2024 before add-ons, fees and tax. Customers had to order online at a participating restaurant and enter promo code DIMEBAG. The offer was available April 16 through April 21, 2024, and could not be combined with other offers, rewards or combos. Availability was limited. Nation’s Restaurant News also described it as a $10 online-only meal at participating locations.

Was the Dime Bag a meal, merchandise or both?
“Dime Bag” referred to the promotion and its limited-edition meal bag. The official announcement said select customers might also receive surprise merchandise, including a Jimmy John’s-branded rolling tray, described as being for catching chip crumbs. That tray was not a standard food component of every meal.
A 2024 trade report said a branded Dime Bag was sold separately on Jimmy John’s merchandise site for $16. That was merchandise, not part of the $10 meal deal, and the report does not establish whether it remains available.

Why was it called a 4/20 promotion?
Jimmy John’s presented the meal as a tongue-in-cheek campaign tied to 4/20. The company said the previous year’s promotion featured limited-edition sandwich-wrap rolling papers. Kate Carpenter, Jimmy John’s vice president of integrated marketing, called the 2024 offer “a fun and cheeky way to continue that tradition.”

No. The stated offer period ended April 21, 2024. Jimmy John’s current menu page does not confirm that the named promotion has returned, so the 2024 price and code should not be treated as a current offer. Whether the company will bring back this or a similar promotion in a future year is not established.
