4 Marketing Campaigns from June 2025 Worth Studying

Four campaigns highlighted for June 2025 used nostalgia, customer participation, editorial recipe styling, and creator-platform fit. Here’s what businesses can learn without treating them as a performance ranking.

Website Builder Expert’s July 2, 2025 roundup selected four campaigns associated with June: House of CB, Fishwife, Oatly, and Pinterest with Emma Chamberlain. They offer different creative mechanisms—nostalgia, audience participation, editorial product presentation, and a creator partnership—but the roundup reports no comparable reach, engagement, conversion, or sales figures. Treat them as examples to learn from, not a measured ranking of the month’s best-performing campaigns.

Four campaigns, four ways to invite attention

The useful question is not which campaign “won.” The roundup describes the creative choices, but does not provide common performance data for comparing outcomes. Instead, look at how each brand connected its product to a story, format, or audience action.

Brand and campaign Primary mechanism Audience role
House of CB: #BandageIsBack Nostalgia and a response to mixed reactions Commenters whose reactions informed a follow-up video
Fishwife: Summertime Art Box Seasonal product paired with a creative activity Followers invited to submit tin designs
Oatly: spring/summer lookbook Recipe content styled like an editorial feature Readers could view the lookbook and follow recipes
Pinterest and Emma Chamberlain: limited-edition coffee blend Creator collaboration tied to platform culture Followers could interact with Chamberlain’s Pinterest board

House of CB: turn a nostalgic reaction into a follow-up

On June 2, womenswear brand House of CB posted photos of its bandage-dress collection with #BandageIsBack. Website Builder Expert reported mixed comments: some followers welcomed the style’s return, while others said it belonged in the past. The brand then posted a video reacting to the comments.

The sequence matters: the initial post introduced a recognizable fashion reference, and the response gave the brand another moment to engage with the reaction. A divisive idea can prompt conversation, but the example does not show that controversy reliably produces positive results. The roundup describes social buzz qualitatively; it provides no engagement counts, sales lift, or evidence that the campaign caused a business outcome.

#1 Best Overall

Fishwife: make the product itself a creative prompt

Tinned-seafood brand Fishwife’s seasonal Summertime Art Box included Spicy Tuna and Smoked Rainbow Trout in black-and-white packaging customers could color. The box also contained art prints, fish clips, colored pencils, and stickers. A competition invited followers to share their own tin designs, which the roundup notes could be reposted as social content.

This approach connects a seasonal product to a simple activity that suits Fishwife’s colorful brand presentation. It also gives customers a defined way to contribute, rather than asking for engagement without a clear prompt. Shared designs can provide additional material for a brand’s social channels, although the roundup gives no participation or sales figures for the competition.

Rank #2

Oatly: present recipes with editorial styling

Oatly’s spring/summer lookbook paired drink recipes—including an Ube Matcha Latte and a Tomato Vine Soda Float—with fashion-editorial styling, clean product imagery, and close-up views of drinks and ingredients. Readers could view the lookbook on Oatly’s website and follow the recipes.

The creative choice is to make familiar recipe content feel like a visual feature: styling and detail shots help frame the drinks as appealing subjects, not just instructions. Website Builder Expert interprets this as sensory marketing, but the roundup does not report a measured audience response.

Pinterest and Emma Chamberlain: build around a genuine fit

Pinterest partnered with Emma Chamberlain and her coffee brand on a limited-edition blend. The campaign used editorial photographs and a teaser video inspired by Pinterest’s “Fisherman Aesthetic” trend coverage. Chamberlain also curated a Pinterest board for followers to interact with.

The roundup presents the partnership as a natural match because Chamberlain already used Pinterest and her audience was active on the platform. For a business considering a creator collaboration, the relevant test is fit across the person, product, audience, and channel—not simply the creator’s visibility. The roundup recommends considering a partner’s values, interests, and public reputation, but reports no performance measurements for this campaign.

How to apply the examples to a smaller campaign

These four ideas can be translated into modest experiments without assuming that the original campaigns’ results are known. Choose one mechanism that fits the brand and make the audience’s next action clear.

  • Use nostalgia when it belongs to the product. A familiar style or reference can be a conversation starter; plan a thoughtful follow-up in case reactions are mixed.
  • Offer a concrete participation prompt. A design submission or other simple contribution gives people a specific reason to respond and may create material the brand can share, subject to appropriate permissions.
  • Give useful content a distinctive presentation. Recipes or product information can be made more visually engaging through consistent styling and close-up imagery.
  • Choose collaborators for alignment. Check that the creator’s interests and audience make sense for the product and channel, and consider whether their public reputation suits the brand.

For a small business, the practical comparison is the effort each mechanism requires and whether it supports an existing brand identity. A contest needs a workable submission process; a collaboration needs a credible match; and a visual campaign needs assets that make the product legible. The roundup does not provide costs, so it cannot establish which approach is cheapest or most profitable.

What the roundup can—and cannot—tell you

Holly Choules’s Website Builder Expert roundup, published July 2, 2025, selected these four campaigns associated with June 2025 as inspiration for businesses. Its descriptions help identify creative mechanisms and formats. They do not establish a comparative winner: the article provides no shared figures for reach, engagement, conversions, or sales, and its assessments of buzz or success remain qualitative.
