The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) said admit cards for the Accounts Assistant, Finance Department OMR examination would be available from 22 January 2024. The examination was scheduled for 28 January 2024, so this is a historical notice—not a current admit-card release. At the time, candidates needed their email ID and date of birth to download the card; it would not be sent by post.
What the January 2024 notice covered
JKSSB’s notice, dated 19 January 2024, concerned the Accounts Assistant post in the Finance Department under Notification No. 04 of 2020, item 106. It set 28 January 2024 as the date for the OMR written examination and said the admit cards would be hosted from 22 January. A contemporaneous Hindustan Times report published on 22 January 2024 also reported the release and the exam date.
The archived JKSSB notice PDF hosted by JKAlerts states: “Candidates can download their Admit Cards from the website using their E-mail ID and Date of Birth. They must read the instructions contained therein, carefully.” It also says admit cards would not be sent by post.
How the historical download worked
The notice directed candidates to download the card from the JKSSB website using their email ID and date of birth. It did not provide a verified direct login URL in the notice. The evidence available does not establish whether the old login page is still accessible, so a 2024 download should not be assumed to work now.
JKSSB’s official website is the place to check for current recruitment notices and any currently available candidate services. If you already have a copy of the 2024 admit card, follow the instructions printed on it; the board specifically told candidates to read them carefully.
Historical help-desk details
For issues during the 2024 examination window, the notice listed these contacts and specified that the help desk would operate during office hours from 22 to 28 January 2024:

The examination date was 28 January 2024. The District Kathua government order page also identifies the scheduled examination. Since that date has passed, the 2024 admit-card notice is useful as an archive of the past process, not as evidence of a current examination or active download link.
