Which posts and exam dates did the 2024 release cover?
Scroll reported on May 22, 2024, that JKPSC had released hall tickets for the four posts listed above, with written tests scheduled on May 28 and 29 from 10 a.m. to noon. Its report did not specify which post was assigned to each day. Scroll’s May 22 report is the source for the overall dates and time window.
Jagran Josh’s May 21 report gives a more specific split: AFO, FDO and Works Manager on May 28, and HDO on May 29. It also describes the test as objective mode. The official 2024 notice could not be directly verified, so treat that post-by-post schedule and exam-format detail as secondary reporting, not as independently confirmed official notice wording.
How candidates were told to download the hall ticket
Contemporaneous coverage described an online login and download process on the JKPSC website. The reports did not reproduce the exact page labels, so the steps below reflect the general route they described rather than a verified current interface.

- Open the admit-card link for the relevant 2024 recruitment and post.
- Log in using the candidate credentials requested on the page.
- Download the hall ticket and print a copy for the examination.
The reports describe a digital download and printing; they do not say that candidates needed to pay for an admit card or buy a particular printer or supplies.
What if a candidate could not download the 2024 card?
Scroll reported that candidates unable to download their admit cards could approach the Commission office in Jammu or Srinagar by or before May 27, 2024. The report quoted the notice as saying: “Applicants who are unable to download their admit cards may approach the Commission Office by or before May 27 at Jammu/ Srinagar.” That was a time-bound instruction for the 2024 examination, not current guidance.

The 2024 card and its reported exam dates are archival. JKPSC’s homepage has appeared with later notices and admit-card listings, but the old notice PDF could not be directly retrieved and there is no basis to claim that a 2024 direct link remains live. For another recruitment, start at the official JKPSC website and follow the latest notice for that specific post and examination.
