UNIQLO’s first Perth store opened on 30 August 2018 at Plaza Arcade on Murray Street in Perth’s CBD. The announcement’s “to open” wording referred to that historical launch, not a future opening.
When and where did UNIQLO open in Perth?
The store opened on 30 August 2018 at the Murray Street end of Plaza Arcade in Perth CBD. PerthNow reported that it occupied 1,290 square metres. Starhill Global REIT, Plaza Arcade’s landlord, independently confirmed the opening date in its FY2018/19 first-quarter presentation, stating that UNIQLO opened its first Perth store after renovation works were completed. PerthNow’s July 2018 announcement and Starhill Global REIT’s FY2018/19 presentation document the launch.
