The JNVST 2024 Class 6 application correction window was a past opportunity for the 2024–25 admission cycle. Contemporary reporting said it opened on September 1, 2023 and closed on September 2, 2023, so candidates cannot use it to change a form now. The announcement directed applicants to the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) website; the current login portal does not establish that the old correction facility is still available.
When the JNVST 2024 Class 6 correction window was open
Scroll reported on September 1, 2023 that NVS had started online corrections for Class VI applications for the 2024–25 academic session. It said eligible candidates, or their parents or guardians, could make changes through September 2, 2023. The correction period has expired. Scroll’s September 1, 2023 report is the contemporary source for those dates.
Which application details were reportedly editable
Hindustan Times and Scroll reported that registered candidates could correct the following selected details:
- Gender
- Category
- Rural or urban area
- Disability
- Medium of examination
This list describes the 2024–25 application correction window, not the rules for a later JNVST cycle. The specific fields were reported in secondary coverage; copies of the prospectus also described corrections as limited to selected fields. Hindustan Times’ report

What the “direct link” means now
The historical announcement directed applicants to navodaya.gov.in for the correction facility. That reference is not a currently usable correction link: the window closed in 2023, and the present NVS admissions portal login page does not confirm that the old facility remains live.
Copies of the 2024 prospectus stated that corrections would be restricted to selected fields and that candidates should look to the NVS website or registration portal for information about when a correction window opened. The available prospectus copies are hosted by third parties: Career Power prospectus copy and Vedantu prospectus copy.

Do not rely on the 2023 dates, fields, or an old correction link for a different admission year. Check the NVS website and the current registration portal for the instructions applying to that cycle. The current portal page establishes that an NVS login site exists, but it does not establish the correction dates or editable fields for later admissions.
