On those estimates, Bellingham’s weekly figure was 2.5 times Mundle’s, a gap of £7,500. Neither amount is an official, club-confirmed salary.

Why other Sunderland wage figures differ
A separate Sunderland AFC News table for 2023/24 estimated Bellingham’s weekly wage at £6,500, while Mundle was again listed at £5,000 (2023/24 wage estimates). That earlier figure should not be mixed into the 2024/25 comparison: the sources cover different seasons and report estimates, not verified contract terms.
Capology’s search result gives Mundle an estimated 2026/27 gross fixed salary of £15,000 a week (£780,000 a year), excluding bonuses, and says its salary figures are estimates rather than official data (Capology salary estimate). This is a later-season estimate, not a like-for-like figure for the 2024/25 table; the page was unavailable to inspect, so its scope should be treated cautiously.

What the estimates do—and do not—show
- They allow a straightforward comparison of the two players in the same season and from one published table.
- They do not establish either player’s contractual pay, take-home income, bonuses, tax, image-rights payments, or other compensation.
- The difference between the 2023/24 and 2024/25 Bellingham estimates shows why season and source matter; it does not by itself prove that his contract changed by a particular amount.
