Jacob & Co. reported revenue of $81 million in 2020, $137 million in 2021 and $188 million in 2022. The company said that amounted to 132% growth over the two-year period, driven principally by demand for luxury watches. Its January 2023 announcement also described planned retail expansion and a changing product mix. Those figures and explanations are company-reported; they do not establish the company’s revenue after 2022.
What did Jacob & Co. report about revenue?
In a January 30, 2023 announcement, Jacob & Co. reported this revenue series:
| Year | Company-reported revenue |
|---|---|
| 2020 | USD 81 million |
| 2021 | USD 137 million |
| 2022 | USD 188 million |
The company described the change from 2020 to 2022 as 132% revenue growth. It also reported that luxury-watch revenue grew 106% over those same years. These are historical company figures, not an independently verified or audited series. Jacob & Co.’s announcement does not provide comparable consolidated revenue figures for 2023–2026.
What did the company say contributed to growth?
Jacob & Co. attributed the period’s revenue chiefly to demand for luxury watches. It also cited product innovation, digital strategy and retail expansion as parts of its broader growth approach. The announcement does not isolate how much each factor contributed, so these should be read as management’s explanation rather than separately measured causes.

The company also described stronger sales for several named products. It said more than 200 Bugatti Chiron timepieces had been sold by the fourth quarter of 2022, and reported 110 Opera Godfather sales. It said sales of Epic X and Epic X Chrono had increased five to ten times over the preceding couple of years, without specifying a precise start and end date for that comparison. For the Palatial collection, it reported sales rising from USD 200,000 in 2020 to USD 2 million in 2022. Those product figures are company-reported and do not represent total company revenue or current retail prices.
What expansion did Jacob & Co. announce?
Retail network plans in 2023
The January 2023 announcement said the company planned 13 additional boutiques and shop-in-shops during 2023, which it said would bring its network to 94 locations in 34 countries. That was a dated plan and projected network total, not confirmation that all 13 openings took place or a current location count.

Markets and retail partners
The company described international activity involving Singapore, London, Tokyo, Mumbai, New Delhi, the Caribbean, Dubai and Istanbul. It also named Saudi Arabia, Hong Kong, Thailand, Austria, Australia, Kuwait, Albania, Bahrain, Andorra, Vietnam and Egypt as prospective 2023 openings. The announcement does not establish that every planned market opening occurred.
Jacob & Co. identified India retailer Ethos as a representative with 11 locations and said it was expanding with Watches of Switzerland in the United States. It described the US, Dubai and Mexico as strong markets. These are the company’s historical descriptions in 2023, not a current directory of partners or locations.

Product mix and accessible daily-wear watches
The company said demand and sales were increasing for lower-priced, daily-wear watches, and named Epic X among the collections serving that market. It framed this move as an addition to, rather than a replacement for, its high-complication watches. In the same announcement, CEO Benjamin Arabov said the company saw opportunities in the United States as it developed lower-end timepieces, and forecast substantial growth in 2024 and 2025. That was a forward-looking statement made in 2023, not evidence that the forecast was achieved.
What does the later 2025 growth report show?
A Jacob & Co. Japan release dated February 25, 2026, says the Morgan Stanley Swiss Watcher report ranked the brand as the fastest-growing Swiss watch brand for 2025. It relays reported growth of 14% in sales and 24% in unit sales. These are percentages attributed by the company’s Japanese release to the Morgan Stanley report; they are not consolidated revenue amounts and should not be treated as a continuation of the 2020–2022 revenue series. The original report was not inspected for this account. Read the Jacob & Co. Japan release.

This is the company’s account of its Japan strategy, not a census of its worldwide distribution. Read the Japan strategy release.

What the growth figures do—and do not—establish

- The company’s 132% figure is growth from 2020 to 2022, not an annual growth rate.
- The 2025 report relayed by Jacob & Co. Japan gives sales and unit-growth percentages, not company-wide revenue totals.
- The 94-location figure was a projected 2023 network total; it should not be used as a present-day count.
