What happened in Saturday Lotto draw #4599?
PerthNow reported on 16 August 2025 that four tickets across Australia shared the $6 million Division One jackpot, with the Western Australian ticket-holder receiving about $1.6 million. Lotterywest’s release on 18 August confirmed that WA had one of the four Division One-winning tickets, worth $1.6 million.
PerthNow reported the winning numbers as 23, 6, 38, 1, 15 and 18, with supplementary numbers 32 and 24. Lotterywest’s release confirmed the WA Division One result but did not list the draw numbers.
Where was the winning ticket sold?
Lotterywest said the WA winning ticket was sold at The Lucky Charm Gwelup. Its 18 August 2025 release said the ticket was not registered to a Lotterywest membership at that time. That meant Lotterywest could not use a membership to notify the holder directly, and the holder might not yet have known about the win. The release does not establish whether the prize has since been claimed.

What did other Saturday Lotto winners receive?
PerthNow reported 47 Division Two winners, including seven from WA, each receiving $13,339.30. It also reported more than 1,000 Division Three winners, each receiving $905.60. These lower-division figures are from PerthNow’s report; Lotterywest’s release confirmed the WA Division One result but did not reproduce that breakdown.
How likely is a Saturday Lotto Division One win?
Lotterywest’s Saturday Lotto information, accessed 8 October 2026, puts the Division One odds at about 1 in 8,145,060 for one standard game. The odds of winning any prize on one standard game are about 1 in 42. Lotterywest describes both figures as approximate and rounded.

In Saturday Lotto, eight numbers are drawn from 45: the first six are the winning numbers and the final two are supplementary numbers. Lotterywest says there is no skill or strategy that increases the chance of winning, because the chance does not change.
