LEGO’s Star Wars Death Star Ultimate Collector Series set, product number 75419, launched in the United States for $999.99. It has 9,023 pieces and 38 figures—but the precise count is 36 minifigures plus two droid figures. LEGO’s US product page listed it as available now at that price on October 8, 2026; availability and pricing can change.
What is LEGO Death Star set 75419?
Set 75419 is an adult-oriented, display-focused LEGO Star Wars UCS model that depicts the Death Star as a cutaway, with rooms and scenes from the films arranged inside. LEGO revealed it on September 4, 2025. LEGO Insiders early access began October 1, 2025, followed by general availability on October 4, 2025, according to LEGO’s announcement.
The current US product page lists the set for $999.99 and as available now, as of October 8, 2026. That is a dated snapshot, not a guarantee of future price or stock. LEGO says it is sold through LEGO.com, LEGO Stores, and selected retailers. The page does not establish current inventory or pricing at any specific third-party seller. See LEGO’s Death Star 75419 product page for its current listing.
How many pieces and figures are included?
The model contains 9,023 pieces. LEGO promotes 38 characters, but its detailed specification breaks that total down into 36 minifigures and two droid figures. Calling all 38 “minifigures” is imprecise.

Named characters include Luke Skywalker in Jedi and Stormtrooper versions, Han Solo (including two versions), Princess Leia, Chewbacca, Darth Vader, and Emperor Palpatine. StarWars.com described the lineup as the largest in a single LEGO set at the time of its October 3, 2025 article; that is a dated claim, not a guarantee that it remains the largest today.
What scenes are built into the Death Star?
The cutaway design brings together recognizable locations and mechanisms from across the saga. LEGO lists the trash chute and crushing trash compactor, Leia’s holding cell, a hangar control room and bay, the tractor beam control unit, Emperor Palpatine’s throne room, an Imperial Shuttle, and the Superlaser. The model also has a functional elevator and a retractable bridge scene.

In a StarWars.com interview, LEGO master model designer César Soares said he led the set’s reimagining for three years. He described a design assembled from individual room dioramas, with scenes spanning A New Hope, Return of the Jedi, and Rogue One. The interview also points to Easter eggs including a Stormtrooper in swim trunks—the “Hot Tub Stormtrooper”—and a hidden Andor reference.
How much room does the set need?
LEGO’s current product page gives approximate dimensions of 28 inches (70 cm) high, 32 inches (79 cm) wide, and 11 inches (27 cm) deep. Those figures are substantially different from the dimensions in LEGO’s 2025 announcement, which said the model was over 20.6 inches high, 18.9 inches wide, and 15.1 inches deep. Because the official sources conflict, treat the current product-page measurements as the newer listing and check the page again before planning a display space.

What to verify before spending $999.99
A $999.99 purchase is worth checking carefully. Before ordering, compare the total cost and practical terms rather than assuming another store has the same price or stock as LEGO.
- Confirm the seller, stock status, and final price, including shipping and any applicable taxes.
- Review the seller’s return and shipping policies, particularly for a large, high-value box.
- Check regional availability and currency: LEGO’s 2025 launch announcement listed prices of $999.99 USD, £899.99 GBP, and €999.99 EUR, while the current price snapshot cited here is for the US store.
- For a third-party listing, verify that the seller is one you trust; LEGO’s product page does not confirm current inventory or seller identity on other marketplaces.
The launch announcement also included a TIE Fighter with Imperial Hangar Rack gift with qualifying purchases from October 1–7, 2025, while supplies lasted. That was a time-limited promotion and is not a current offer.
