Not enough to establish how much BlockDAG raised. The $185 million figure appears in the headline claim, but the available sources do not corroborate it as actual proceeds. BlockDAG’s FAQ gives a $600 million presale target; a target is an announced goal, not evidence that buyers contributed that amount—or any particular amount.
The sources reviewed also do not establish an independently verified total raised, buyer count, transaction volume, token price, network transactions per second, or investor returns. “Biggest presale” is likewise unverified: establishing a ranking would require comparable, independently evidenced fundraising totals for BlockDAG and other presales.
What did the Seychelles regulator say?
On 19 March 2025, the Financial Services Authority of Seychelles (FSA) published a notice concerning www.blockdag.network and the BLOCKDAG coin issued by DAG SYSTEMS LTD. The notice states: “The public is hereby notified that the aforementioned company does not presently have any authorisation for the issuance, having failed to submit an application to register the coin offering.”

It should not be expanded into a claim about every BlockDAG activity, every jurisdiction, or the present legal status of the project. The FSA also urged the public to research and evaluate carefully before transactions involving money or personal details.
What launch and exchange milestones does BlockDAG report?
BlockDAG’s mainnet page reports that its mainnet launched on 10 February 2026, its token generation event (TGE) took place on 11 February, and BDAG trading began on LBank, BitMart, and Coinstore on 5 March 2026. These are project-reported milestones. They do not, by themselves, independently confirm that deposits and withdrawals are available, that markets have meaningful liquidity, that the network is active, or that a particular user can access the token.

The project page also lists future ecosystem milestones and expanded exchange plans. A planned listing or roadmap item should not be treated as completed merely because it appears on a project schedule. Confirm any claimed listing directly with the exchange, and check current deposit and withdrawal status, trading pairs, order-book depth, and official network or contract information before relying on it.
What do the security-review claims cover?
BlockDAG describes a Halborn assessment as completed and labels a CertiK review completed, while also saying it is “currently collaborating” with CertiK for further scrutiny. Those descriptions do not establish the scope or findings of each review without the underlying reports.

Separately, BlockDAG’s security page describes a comprehensive third-party audit of the entire blockchain as future work, to be initiated after a testnet release. It lists areas including protocol, nodes, smart contracts, cryptography, storage, tokenomics, governance, interoperability, performance, and incident response. A completed review of a component or project is not the same as an audit covering all those areas. The available statements therefore do not support saying that the entire network has been independently audited.

How can you evaluate the claims before risking money?
- Separate targets from receipts. Look for auditable evidence of actual proceeds and the method used to calculate them; do not substitute a presale target or promotional headline.
- Read regulator notices in context. Check the issuing authority, date, named entity, offering, and jurisdiction. Do not treat one notice as a universal ruling beyond its stated scope.
- Verify access at the point of use. Confirm a listing and deposit and withdrawal availability with the exchange itself. Examine liquidity rather than assuming that a trading announcement means an asset can be bought or sold on workable terms.
- Check the network and token details. Use independently verifiable explorer and contract information to assess activity, token supply, vesting, and liquidity. The sources described here do not establish those figures.
- Read audit reports, not labels. Confirm the auditor, report date, code or system reviewed, exclusions, and findings. A review label alone does not show what risks were examined.
- Verify hardware claims independently. Confirm delivery, specifications, compatibility, and performance before treating a miner as an investment or a source of income.
