Kim Kardashian reportedly gave North West a custom skull necklace by Alex Moss New York for Christmas. The design is described as a spiked chain with a cartoon-style skull, blue jewel eyes and North’s name engraved on the back. A claim that it is worth well into six figures comes from unnamed experts cited by one publication; no appraisal or sale price has been disclosed.
What is known about the necklace?
Us Weekly reported on January 2, 2026, that Kardashian commissioned one-of-a-kind jewelry from Alex Moss New York as a Christmas gift and that North had a hand in creating the pieces. Its account describes a spiked skull necklace with blue jewel eyes and an engraved name (Us Weekly).
Complex reported on January 4 that the custom pendant has a cartoon-style skull and spiked details, with North’s name engraved on the back (Complex). Just Jared reported that Alex Moss described a “spike necklace chain” and “cartoon skull pendant,” and said the necklace revisits an earlier design concept (Just Jared).
Is it really a 106-carat diamond necklace?
Coverage and headline framing use the 106-carat figure, but the reviewed reports do not provide an underlying gem specification or independent verification. The figure should not be read as proof that the necklace contains one 106-carat diamond.
