Liverpool’s Adidas partnership began on 1 August 2025, ending Nike’s run as the club’s kit supplier. The £50m figure in the headline is reported, not an officially confirmed deal value: Liverpool and the Associated Press said financial terms were not disclosed.
When did Liverpool switch from Nike to Adidas?
Liverpool announced the change on 10 March 2025. Adidas became the club’s official kit partner on 1 August 2025, when the first Adidas home and away kits for the 2025/26 season launched. Nike had supplied Liverpool’s kits since the 2020/21 season.
The change returned Liverpool to Adidas after two earlier supplier spells, from 1985 to 1996 and from 2006 to 2012. The club thanked Nike for its support over the preceding five years. Liverpool’s announcement and BBC Sport’s report provide the partnership timeline and supplier history.
Is Liverpool’s Adidas deal officially worth £50m?
Not in the sources cited here. The £50m figure is reported separately, but Liverpool’s announcement and the Associated Press both say the financial terms were not disclosed. It should therefore be treated as a reported figure, not a confirmed payment or total contract value. The sources do not establish what the figure represents or provide enough information for a like-for-like financial comparison with Nike’s arrangement. The Associated Press report notes that the terms were undisclosed.

How long is the Adidas partnership?
Liverpool initially described the arrangement as “multi-year.” At the kit launch on 1 August, chief commercial officer Ben Latty called it the beginning of a 10-year relationship between the club and Adidas. That is the club’s public description of the term; the announcement did not disclose financial terms.
What does the partnership cover?
The agreement extends beyond the men’s first team. Liverpool says Adidas supplies match kit, training kit and culture wear for the men’s and women’s teams, Academy teams and LFC Foundation staff. Adidas’ announcement gives the same broad scope, while the Associated Press describes the coverage as including men’s, women’s and youth teams.
