The winning entries were bought at Nextra Boutiques in Forrestfield, Kingsway City Lottery Centre in Madeley and through Lotterywest Play Online. The release does not establish whether those prizes have since been claimed, so the status here is limited to the date of that announcement.
Which WA Saturday Lotto tickets were unclaimed?
Lotterywest’s 24 August 2026 announcement named three winning entry sources:
- Nextra Boutiques in Forrestfield
- Kingsway City Lottery Centre in Madeley
- Lotterywest Play Online
Lotterywest said ten Division One tickets across Australia shared the prize pool, with almost $650,000 for each winning entry. The amount was reported as “almost” $650,000, not as an exact prize figure. The announcement also referred to a separate Division One winner in Paraburdoo from the previous weekend; that was a different draw and not one of the three tickets above. How to check a Lotterywest ticket
Use Lotterywest’s official checking route for the type of entry you bought:
#1 Best Overall
| Entry type | How to check |
|---|---|
| Physical ticket | Take it to a Lotterywest store and use the ticket checker, or ask the retailer to check it. |
| Online or app entry | Log in to the player account to check the entry. |
Lotterywest provides its instructions on the official ticket-checking page. Keep a physical ticket safe until its result and any claim are resolved.
How Division One prizes are claimed
Lotterywest says Division One claims must be made at Lotterywest Head Office during office hours. It subjects claims to a 14-day validation period. The stated claim period for prizes is 12 months from the draw date; the draw date is needed to calculate a specific deadline. These instructions concern Division One and should not be confused with the procedures for prizes in lower divisions. See Lotterywest’s prize claim guidance.

What happens to unclaimed Lotterywest prizes?

Lotterywest spokesperson Zoe Wender said players often choose numbers linked to birthdays and special dates, and that the agency often sees more winning entries nationally when winning numbers are below 31. This is Lotterywest’s explanation for the number of entries sharing a prize, not an independently established probability claim. Wender also said the agency was looking forward to welcoming the three WA winners to the Lotterywest Winners Room. Lotterywest’s 24 August 2026 announcement
