The free LEGO Blooming Heart was a one-day, in-store make-and-take event on February 13, 2026, at participating LEGO Stores in the United States and Canada. The event has ended, and LEGO said the model could not be purchased. The other options are different: free heart-building instructions, a separately reported online gift-with-purchase offer, or a paid heart-themed set.
How did the free LEGO Blooming Heart event work?
LEGO listed the activity as “LEGO® Insiders: Blooming Heart.” It was an in-person build for LEGO Insiders, intended for adults aged 18 and older. LEGO’s event terms gave the participating-store event window as Friday, February 13, 2026, from 5–7 p.m. The Anaheim Downtown Disney LEGO Store was a location-specific exception, with a 4–6 p.m. window. The stated time applied to participating stores in the United States and Canada.
- Builds were available first come, first served, while supplies lasted.
- Participation was limited to one build per guest.
- LEGO’s terms said: “LEGO Blooming Heart model cannot be purchased.”
Because the scheduled date has passed, these are details of a concluded promotion, not instructions for claiming an active offer. LEGO’s event listing does not establish that the event will return in 2027.
What are the alternatives to the ended event?
| Option | What you get | Terms and status |
|---|---|---|
| Blooming Heart make-and-take | A physical model built at a participating store | LEGO’s US event listing says it took place February 13, 2026, in the United States and Canada, subject to Insider eligibility, age, timing, limited supply, and the one-build limit. The event is over. |
| Heart and rose instructions | Downloadable building instructions, not a physical set | LEGO’s German Valentine’s Day page offered free instructions in 2024. That historical regional page does not show that a current offer is available. |
| Penguins in Love gift with purchase | A reported 278-piece set with an online order | GameSpot reported on January 29, 2026, that a single order of $80 or more at LEGO’s online store qualified during a limited-time promotion. Those details are from secondary reporting; official promotion terms were not verified here, so they should not be treated as confirmed current terms. |
| Heart Ornament | A separate, paid heart-themed building set | LEGO’s US Valentine’s page displayed a price of $12.99. It is not the free Blooming Heart model; price and availability may change. |
Can you still get the free physical heart?
Not through the February 2026 event: its date has passed, and LEGO said the Blooming Heart model could not be purchased. The historical free-instructions page is a way to access a design, not to claim the event model. For a current physical heart-themed build, LEGO’s US page lists the paid Heart Ornament as a separate product; check LEGO’s current listing for availability and price.
