What was the last date to apply for JEE Main 2024 Session 2?
The National Testing Agency (NTA) first set the application deadline as 2 March 2024, up to 11:00 p.m. In a notice dated 2 March, it extended the deadline to 4 March 2024, up to 10:50 p.m. The extension notice is the source for the final cutoff. NTA’s 2 March 2024 extension notice and NTA’s original 2 February 2024 notice record the respective dates.
Application, payment and correction deadlines
These were separate cutoffs; submitting the form and paying the fee did not share the same deadline.

NTA described the correction opportunity as one-time and said no further chance would be given to apply or correct the Session 2 application.

Was the JEE Main 2024 Session 2 registration deadline extended?
Yes. NTA’s 2 March 2024 notice extended online application submission from 2 March to 4 March 2024, with the form cutoff at 10:50 p.m. and fee payment allowed until 11:50 p.m. The notice said the extension covered candidates who had applied for Session 1 but had not registered for Session 2, as well as fresh applicants.
How Session 1 applicants were told to apply
According to NTA’s 2 February 2024 notice, candidates who had applied for Session 1 and paid the examination fee could use their previous application number and password to log in for Session 2. They could select the paper, examination medium, eligibility state, Session 2 examination cities and educational-qualification details, then pay the applicable fee. Candidates who had not applied earlier were instructed to apply afresh. NTA also said candidates could not submit more than one application form.

No. The application and payment cutoffs, the correction window and the examination period are all in the past. NTA’s original notice scheduled the Session 2 examinations for 4–15 April 2024; its 3 April 2024 advisory identifies the session as the April 2024 examination. The old notice and application address should not be treated as evidence that registration is open.
