The sequence matters: the resignation came before Mills appeared on MAFS Season 10 in 2023. It is fair to say he left the CEO role before going on the show, but not that he formally resigned in order to find a partner.

What happened to CannPal after Mills left?
CannPal’s corporate story continued after Mills’ CEO departure. CannPal was acquired by AusCann in a scrip deal in 2021, and Mills served in leadership roles at the combined company, according to PerthNow and Business News Australia. Business News Australia reported in November 2024 that CannPal had an option and purchase agreement with an unnamed “global top 10 animal health company.” The agreement included commercialisation rights for dermatology assets and an option relating to CPAT-01 outside Australia and New Zealand. That is evidence of a reported commercial arrangement, not proof that a medicine was approved or available to buy.
