BlockDAG’s $23.9M Presale Ranking: What the 2024 Article Said About Retik Finance and Dogwifhat

A May 2024 Analytics Insight article called BlockDAG the most promising of three crypto projects, but its ranking and fundraising figures were not independently verified in the available material.

BlockDAG was called the “most promising” of the three projects in an Analytics Insight article published and updated on May 9, 2024. That was an opinion attributed to Lux Crypto—not a transparent, independently verified ranking, and not a current investment recommendation. The article reported BlockDAG presale proceeds above $23.9 million, but the available material does not independently verify that figure.

What the 2024 ranking claimed

Analytics Insight’s May 9, 2024 article presented BlockDAG as the leading prospect among BlockDAG, Retik Finance, and Dogwifhat. It reported that BlockDAG’s presale had raised more than $23.9 million and that miner sales exceeded $2.4 million. Those are historical figures reported by the publisher; the available material does not establish an independently verifiable sales record or audited presale total.

The article also attributed a very optimistic $4-to-$50 price range to Lux Crypto. It did not provide a valuation method that would support treating that range as a reliable forecast. It is best understood as an attributed prediction, not evidence of future performance.

How BlockDAG, Retik Finance, and Dogwifhat differ

Project How the 2024 article framed it What the reported comparison establishes
BlockDAG A presale Layer 1 project, with mining devices and a crypto payment-card concept also discussed. Analytics Insight reported more than $23.9 million in presale proceeds and more than $2.4 million in miner sales. The available material does not independently verify either figure or establish that the card was available.
Retik Finance A presale project presented as a competitor. Analytics Insight reported presale proceeds above $4.6 million. This is a historical publisher-reported figure, not a current or independently verified comparison.
Dogwifhat A meme token discussed as a contrast to the two presale projects, against the backdrop of historical market enthusiasm. The article’s discussion does not provide a like-for-like methodology or a current market comparison.

These projects are different kinds of crypto assets, so their reported fundraising figures do not by themselves show which was more promising. A presale total, miner sales, and enthusiasm for a meme token are not equivalent measures of adoption, value, or risk.

Is the $23.9 million BlockDAG presale claim verified?

It is verified only as a claim reported by Analytics Insight in 2024, not as an independently established fundraising total in the available material. The same qualification applies to the article’s figures for miner sales and Retik Finance’s presale. Without verifiable records or independent corroboration, these numbers should not be treated as audited results or as current totals.

What BlockDAG’s current website figures do—and do not—show

As of October 8, 2026, BlockDAG’s official site displayed more than 312,000 holders, 19,000 miners, and more than 3 million X1 app users. A separate official key-stats page displayed more than 374,400 holders, 22,800 miners, and more than 3.6 million X1 app users. These are project-reported figures, and the pages show different counts; they do not independently establish active users, network security, or investment value.

The official site describes BlockDAG as a proof-of-work Layer 1 using a directed acyclic graph structure. That is a description of the project’s claimed design, not independent evidence that the network is functioning as described or that its token is a sound investment. The available material also does not establish whether the payment card mentioned in the 2024 article is currently available or identify an Amazon-searchable miner model.

How to assess the projects without treating the ranking as a verdict

The 2024 article does not provide enough independently verified information to rank these assets today. A meaningful comparison would require comparable, current evidence across several areas:

  • Technology and audits: Determine what is operating, what remains planned, and whether independent security audits and their scope are publicly documented.
  • Token economics: Check supply, allocation, insider holdings, vesting, and unlock schedules. A fundraising headline does not reveal how tokens are distributed or when they may enter circulation.
  • Liquidity and access: Verify current exchange availability and trading liquidity rather than assuming a presale or a project website establishes an exit market.
  • Usage: Look for independently verifiable network activity and distinguish it from project-reported holder, miner, or app-user counts.
  • Disclosure and risk: Review what the project discloses about its team, custody, security, governance, and the risks of buying or using its token.

Without comparable evidence on those points, saying that Retik Finance or Dogwifhat “trail behind” is only a description of the article’s framing. It is not a substantiated current judgment about their relative prospects.

Is BlockDAG a good investment?

The 2024 ranking and its fundraising figures are not enough to answer that question. The article’s “most promising” label was an opinion attributed to Lux Crypto, and the available material provides neither a reproducible scoring method nor independent validation of the key historical claims. BlockDAG’s own website adds project-reported information, but not independent confirmation of adoption or value. A reader considering any of these assets would need current, comparable evidence and should be prepared for the possibility of losing the amount invested.
