As of October 8, 2026, the headline’s 2025 deadline has passed, and the available evidence does not establish that LCAI can reach $10 or outperform DOGE and SHIB. Lightchain AI’s documentation records mainnet genesis on May 5, 2026. At the project’s stated fixed supply of 10 billion LCAI, a $10 token price would imply a $100 billion fully diluted valuation (FDV)—a supply-based calculation, not a forecast or current market capitalization.
What would LCAI at $10 mean?
Lightchain AI’s Mainnet Overview states a fixed total supply of 10 billion LCAI. Multiplying that supply by a hypothetical $10 token price gives an implied FDV of $100 billion. FDV applies the token price to the full supply; it is not the same as market capitalization, which depends on circulating supply.
| Measure | Figure | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| Fixed total supply | 10 billion LCAI | Figure stated in Lightchain AI’s 2026 mainnet documentation. |
| Hypothetical price | $10 per LCAI | The target posed by the headline, not an observed price or forecast. |
| Implied FDV at that price | $100 billion | Arithmetic using the documented total supply; not a current market capitalization. |
The calculation shows the scale of the target, not whether buyers would create enough demand to support it. The retrieved market-tracker pages did not provide a reconciled circulating supply or market capitalization for LCAI, so they cannot establish a reliable current market-cap comparison.
What the market snapshots show—and what they do not
Market prices move, so these are dated observations rather than live quotes. CoinGecko’s page snapshot, last updated September 27, 2026, showed LCAI at $0.001040 and an FDV of $10.405 million; its circulating supply and market cap were listed as unavailable. That page also reported an all-time high of $0.008970. CoinGecko’s LCAI tracker

CoinMarketCap’s retrieved page, accessed October 8, 2026, showed a price of about $0.000989 and a reported total or maximum supply of 10 billion, while circulating supply and market cap were unavailable. CoinMarketCap’s LCAI tracker The different tracker snapshots should not be combined into a single precise price. Neither establishes the circulating supply needed to calculate a dependable market cap.
Why token price alone cannot show whether LCAI can outshine DOGE or SHIB
A token’s unit price is not a sound measure of its size or investment performance by itself: tokens can have very different supplies. A meaningful comparison with Dogecoin (DOGE) or Shiba Inu (SHIB) would use measures taken on the same date and would distinguish market capitalization from FDV.

- Market size and liquidity: compare circulating supply, market capitalization, daily trading volume, and market depth on a matched-date basis.
- Access and supply changes: examine exchange availability, token distribution, and any unlocks or other changes that could affect tradable supply.
- Use and delivery: compare demonstrated network activity and utility, as well as delivery against each project’s roadmap.
The available LCAI tracker observations lack circulating-supply and market-cap figures, and the retrieved evidence does not provide a matched-date DOGE and SHIB comparison. It therefore cannot support a conclusion that LCAI will outperform either coin. The $100 billion FDV scenario is not, on its own, evidence of likelihood.
What Lightchain AI says LCAI is for
Lightchain AI presents itself as an ecosystem combining blockchain, AI applications, developer tools, and governance. Its site describes Proof of Intelligence as a way to reward useful AI computation and the Artificial Intelligence Virtual Machine as an execution layer for AI-oriented applications. These are project descriptions; the material available here does not establish realized usage or demand. Lightchain AI’s official site
The project’s tokenomics documentation describes intended uses for LCAI: paying for AI tasks, staking for governance, and unlocking premium features. A stated use case does not by itself show how many people use it, whether the activity generates revenue, or whether it creates sustained demand for the token. The available evidence does not establish those outcomes.
The announced 2025 launch and the documented mainnet date
On July 2, 2025, a Lightchain press release distributed through GlobeNewswire said the project had completed 15 presale stages, claimed it had raised $21.1 million, listed a final-round price of $0.007125, and announced a planned mainnet launch for July 2025. The fundraising and presale figures are issuer claims, not independently verified totals. July 2025 press release

The later official Mainnet Overview records genesis at 2026-05-05 12:12:02 UTC; a May 2026 forum announcement also announced mainnet. The documented launch date is therefore after the schedule announced in the 2025 release. These records establish the schedule change, but do not establish why it happened.

- Adoption risk: intended AI-task payments, governance, and premium features do not demonstrate that users are transacting or that the token has durable demand.
- Valuation risk: the $10 scenario implies $100 billion FDV at the documented supply. That figure does not say how much supply is circulating or what market capitalization would be at a given time.
- Execution risk: the recorded mainnet genesis date came after the July 2025 launch schedule announced by the project. A launch date alone does not establish that planned applications or usage are operating at scale.
- Technical and market risk: the project lists independent audit coverage on its official site, but an audit is not a guarantee against smart-contract vulnerabilities, losses, or poor investment performance.
The Mainnet Overview lists chain ID 9200 and cautions: “Always double-check addresses, RPC URLs, and chain ID before signing transactions.” That is a practical safeguard for anyone interacting with the network, not protection against price volatility or investment loss.
