In a TechBullion interview published March 25, 2022, ecommerce entrepreneur Noureddine Khiti described Codshopy as a store platform built for cash-on-delivery (COD) businesses. He also discussed regional differences, warehouse plans and the platform’s subscription policy—but those operational details are historical, not confirmation of how Codshopy works today.
What is Codshopy?
Khiti presented Codshopy as an ecommerce platform dedicated to stores using cash on delivery. In a COD transaction, a customer pays when an order is delivered rather than paying online at checkout. That can make online purchasing accessible to customers who prefer not to pay digitally in advance, but it also means the seller must coordinate delivery and collect payment successfully.
The company profile likewise describes Codshopy as a COD-focused store platform. That supports its positioning, but neither source establishes the platform’s current operating status, feature set, terms or pricing. Anyone evaluating it now should confirm those details directly before committing.
How did Khiti compare Europe and the GCC?
Khiti did not claim that one region was universally better. In the 2022 TechBullion interview, he said: “I firmly believe that there is no market better than the other, we all have human beings and we have mutual needs.” He characterized Europe as more scalable and better structured, while describing the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) market as more fluid in business operations. These are his views from that interview, not an independent comparison or a current ranking of markets.

For a founder choosing where to sell, the practical lesson is to assess the specific country and operating setup rather than treating either region as a single uniform market. The interview does not provide comparable market-size data or performance results that would establish which location is more profitable.
What did he say about warehouses and subscriptions?
In March 2022, Khiti said Codshopy had completed setup of major warehouses in Torino and Lisbon, and that the company might consider GCC warehouses after Bangalore. This is a dated account of plans and setup at that time; it does not verify present warehouse locations, capacity or expansion plans.

He also said the platform was removing monthly packages and cited more than 800 active monthly subscribers at the time of the interview. That subscriber figure is a historical claim attributed to Khiti, not a current user count. The comment about monthly packages should not be used as a description of current pricing or payment terms.
What other COD services are associated with Khiti?
COD Europe advertises delivery, packaging, warehousing and call-center services, as well as training and support. These are provider-advertised services; available coverage, quality and results have not been independently established here. Khiti’s own site also advertises COD ecommerce courses for Morocco and Europe, but course availability and prices can change.

These offerings point to distinct needs around a COD business: a storefront, delivery and fulfilment, customer calls, and training. They do not establish that a particular combination is available in every market or that Codshopy currently integrates with COD Europe.

How to evaluate a COD platform or service
Because the available descriptions do not provide current comparable prices or verified outcomes, compare providers using concrete questions rather than assuming one is best:
- Geography: Which countries and delivery areas are actually served today?
- Store capabilities: Does the platform support the checkout, order management and COD workflow your business needs?
- Fulfilment: Are delivery, packaging, warehousing or call-center services available in your target market, and under what terms?
- Pricing and payment: What are the current fees, billing schedule, contract terms and any extra charges?
- Training and support: What support is included, in which languages and time zones, and how can you verify its scope?
Ask for current written terms and confirm service coverage directly. The 2022 interview helps explain Khiti’s approach and Codshopy’s stated focus at that time; it is not enough on its own to make a present-day purchasing decision.
