Instacart’s promotions page displayed free delivery on the first three orders and unlimited $0 delivery fees for 14 days with an Instacart+ trial when checked October 8, 2026. These were live page contents at that time, not evidence of April 2026 availability, and offers may vary by account, retailer, and location. Service fees still apply to the $0 delivery-fee offer. Check the Instacart promotions page and the offer terms in your account before ordering.
Instacart says it has saved customers more than $3 billion through promotions, deals, and other affordability tools in recent years; its article does not specify the exact period, and this is a company claim rather than an independently audited savings estimate. The same article describes a 50% discount on a year of Instacart+ for SNAP families and $0 delivery fees on orders as low as $10 for Instacart+ members. Check current eligibility and terms: the stated $10 threshold does not apply to every order type. Costco orders require $35 or more, eligible restaurant orders require $25 or more, and service fees apply. These are claims and terms in Instacart’s pricing principles article, not a guarantee that every shopper or retailer qualifies.
How to find and apply an Instacart promo code
Use the route that matches where you shop. Codes from a retail partner may need to be redeemed on that retailer’s Powered by Instacart storefront rather than in the main Instacart app.

- In the app: open the side menu, choose “Credits, promos & gift cards,” then “Add promo or gift card.” Enter the code and redeem it.
- On the website: open Account or your profile greeting, choose “Add promo or gift card,” and enter the code. You can also check “Offers and promo codes” during checkout.
- For an offer sent directly to you: follow the link or use the button in the email, push notification, in-app banner, or text message. Some offers activate this way without a code and are specific to the account that received them.
Read the offer’s expiration date, minimum spend, eligible retailer and products, and account or household restrictions before relying on it. Codes are not retroactive: applying one after placing an order will not add the discount to that order. How Instacart item coupons and store deals work
Clip coupons on eligible items
Instacart says coupons shown on its platform are manufacturer coupons. Select the coupon box beneath an eligible item; the discount applies when the qualifying item is added to your order. Instacart honors only coupons listed on its platform, though it may offer promotions that are not available in stores.

Check your cart after any replacement. If the replacement product does not qualify for the coupon, the discount will not apply. A coupon shown before shopping is not a guarantee that a substitute will retain the savings.
Check BOGO and Stock Up & Save in the retailer’s store
Retailer storefronts may show buy-one-get-one (BOGO) offers and Stock Up & Save deals. BOGO availability varies by retailer and state, and you must add the required number of eligible items. Stock Up & Save requires meeting that offer’s listed quantity or spending condition during its offer period. Read the details on the retailer’s store homepage and check that the qualifying items remain in your cart. Fees may still apply even when an offer advertises a $0 delivery fee.

Can you combine Instacart promotions?
Do not assume two discounts will apply to one order. Instacart says only $0 delivery-fee promotions and select promo codes combine with other promotions; otherwise, generally, only one promotion can be used per order. The checkout’s “Offers and promo codes” section shows which offer applies and whether another available offer can replace it. The precise combination can depend on the offer and account.

Promotions or credits may not combine, and the earliest-expiring promotion may apply automatically. A promotion can also fall off after delivery if refunds or replacements reduce the order below its qualifying minimum. Check the final offer shown at checkout and review the total again if items change. Instacart describes these rules in its promotions help information and promotions page.

For a qualifying SNAP order, Instacart says the minimum spend may be based on the full order subtotal, while the promotion applies only to non-EBT items. If those items do not use the whole promotion amount, the remainder may be returned as account credit. SNAP is available only at select FNS-approved retailers. A separate credit or debit card may be needed for fees, taxes, deposits, and items that are not SNAP-eligible. Confirm the terms for your retailer and offer on the Instacart promotions page.

Compare the full bill, not only the discount
A promo code or “$0 delivery fee” label does not reveal the complete order cost. Instacart says, “Fee information and each retailer’s pricing policy are always accessible before checkout,” in its pricing principles article. Use the retailer’s pricing and fee information, then check the checkout total before placing the order.
- Order pattern and threshold: compare the order size and frequency with the offer’s minimum and eligible order type, including delivery versus pickup.
- All-in cost: account for delivery and service fees, item prices or markups, taxes, tips, and deposits—not just the advertised discount.
- Eligibility: check whether the offer is for new or existing customers, whether an account or household limit applies, which products qualify, and when it expires.
- Changes to the cart: confirm a replacement still qualifies and that refunds will not take the order below its minimum.
- Trials and renewal: before activating an Instacart+ trial, read the live terms and cancellation details, including whether it converts to a paid membership.
Instacart’s pricing article also says that, as of July 2026, it had more retailers offering grocery delivery with no markups than any other third-party marketplace in North America. That is a company comparison; the article notes that fees and exclusions from in-store offers still apply. It does not mean every retailer has no markup or that a particular order will cost less.
