Koru is a custom three-masted sailing yacht built by Dutch shipyard Oceanco and delivered in 2023. Its often-cited $500 million price tag is an estimate, not a confirmed construction cost, purchase price or current market value; Architectural Digest reports that the exact price is unknown.
What is Koru?
Koru is a large three-masted schooner associated with Amazon founder Jeff Bezos. Oceanco delivered the yacht in 2023. An April 2023 report from SuperYacht24 discussed its trial and delivery period, but described ownership as rumored at the time; that historical account is not proof of current ownership. SuperYacht24’s report on Koru’s trials
How large is the yacht?
Published profiles differ slightly on the vessel’s length, so it is safest to describe Koru as about 126 to 127 metres long rather than treat one figure as an undisputed measurement.
| Published specification | Source-reported figure |
|---|---|
| Length | 125.82 metres (412.8 feet), according to YachtBuyer’s Koru profile |
| Alternative length | 127 metres (416 feet), according to YachtCharterFleet’s Koru profile |
| Gross tonnage | 3,493, according to YachtBuyer |
| Beam | 16.8 metres, according to YachtBuyer |
| Draft | 5.02 metres, according to YachtBuyer |
| Rig | Three-masted schooner, according to YachtBuyer and YachtCharterFleet |
These are published profile specifications, not independent measurements presented here. YachtBuyer also describes an aft-deck pool and a large sundeck.

What does Koru reportedly cost?
Reports commonly put Koru’s value at around $500 million, but the figure is not a verified sale or build price. In May 2023, SuperYacht24 described $500 million as an estimated value. Architectural Digest says the exact price is unknown and attributes an estimate of around $500 million to Robb Report. Neither source establishes what Bezos paid or what the yacht would sell for today.
That distinction matters: an estimated value is not the same thing as a confirmed transaction, and the available reporting does not establish an itemized construction cost. SuperYacht24’s May 2023 estimate · Architectural Digest’s account of the price estimate

What is Abeona, Koru’s support yacht?
Abeona is a 75-metre support vessel associated with Koru. SuperYacht24 reported an estimated value of $75 million, which, like the Koru figure, is not a verified transaction price. - 🚢 Premium 120CM Superyacht Display Design: Created and authorized by the designer, this impressive 120 cm (47 in) luxury superyacht model is designed as a high-end display piece rather than a traditional building model. The sleek hull lines, balanced proportions, and refined surfaces recreate the appearance of a professional studio yacht model, making it an eye-catching centerpiece for collectors and advanced builders.
- 🧩 Large Modular Construction System: The yacht is engineered with 10 removable structural sections, allowing builders to assemble, access, and transport the model more conveniently. This modular architecture also makes it easier to explore different areas of the model during the build. The removable display stands allow the yacht to be showcased elevated on stands or placed directly on a flat display surface.
- 📘 Structured Instructions for Organized Building: To simplify the building process of such a large and complex model, the project is divided into six organized instruction groups. Each section includes a detailed parts list and professional PDF building instructions, allowing builders to complete the model step by step while keeping parts management clear and efficient.
- ⚙️ Interactive Mechanical Features: Beyond its elegant appearance, the model includes several functional mechanical elements. Builders can operate working tender garage doors, beach club access doors, removable tenders, and rotating propellers with connected drive shafts, all controlled by a knob located in the engine room area. These functional details add a layer of realism while maintaining the yacht’s clean display style.
- 🏝️ Detailed Multi-Deck Interior Layout: Inside the superyacht is a carefully designed multi-deck interior environment that reflects the layout of a real luxury vessel. Spaces include crew cabins, engine room, generator room, beach club area, main salon, formal dining room, guest cabin, owner’s suite with private facilities, bridge control area, and multiple outdoor leisure areas such as seating zones, dining areas, and a bar. Due to its size and structural complexity, this model is best suited for experienced builders seeking an advanced display project.
Is Koru for sale?
A 2026 Maritime Executive report says Koru may be for sale, citing Page Six. That is unconfirmed reporting: the available account does not establish a verified public listing or a completed sale, and it does not identify a buyer. The Maritime Executive’s report
