The phrase “closes today” referred to 26 November 2024, the date of Scroll’s report; the ITBP registration window covered there is historical, not a current opportunity. The report said 12 vacancies remained across four posts after a revision reduced the original total of 20. It directed candidates to the ITBP recruitment portal, but does not establish that the portal is open now.
What “closes today” meant
Scroll Staff used “today” in its 26 November 2024 report to describe the registration deadline. That wording is tied to the report’s publication date, not to the present. Anyone looking for a live application should check for a current recruitment notice on the ITBP website; the 2024 report does not establish current availability.
Revised vacancies and posts
According to Scroll’s 26 November 2024 report, the revised drive had 12 vacancies, down from 20 originally notified. Four posts remained in the report’s account:
- Assistant Sub-Inspector (Laboratory Technician)
- Assistant Sub-Inspector (Radiographer)
- Assistant Sub-Inspector (Physiotherapist)
- Head Constable (Central Sterilization Room Assistant), abbreviated in the report as CSR Assistant
The report does not give the number of vacancies assigned to each of those four posts, so a post-by-post allocation cannot be confirmed from it.
