The recruitment is no longer at the admit-card stage: IOCL’s official listing now shows a CBT scorecard dated 14 November 2025 and a final result dated 10 December 2025. The official Latest Job Openings page retains the historic call-letter link under the Grade A recruitment entry.
Where to find the IOCL Grade A call-letter link
Use IOCL’s official Latest Job Openings listing and locate the Engineers/Officers (Grade A) recruitment entry. Do not select a different IOCL recruitment with a similar name. Scroll’s report of 20 October 2025 described this route: open Careers, choose Latest Job Opening, select the Grade A recruitment, then follow its call-letter link. [Scroll, 20 October 2025]
The link currently leads to the recruitment portal, but a portal access attempt displayed a browser-compatibility message. That does not establish whether a particular candidate can still retrieve a call letter with a supported browser and valid credentials. Candidate-specific access is therefore unverified. How candidates downloaded the call letter
IOCL’s detailed advertisement, dated 5 September 2025, instructed candidates to use their registration number or roll number with their password or date of birth. The call letter was to be issued around 10 days before the scheduled CBT, with an email or SMS intimation. [IOCL detailed advertisement, 5 September 2025]

- Open its call-letter or admit-card link.
- Enter the registration number or roll number and the password or date of birth requested by the portal.
- Download and print the call letter. IOCL asked candidates to affix a recent, recognizable photograph, preferably the photograph used during registration.
What the call letter specified
The call letter contained each candidate’s examination date, time and allotted centre. Scroll’s 20 October 2025 report described 31 October as the likely CBT date; that report’s wording should not be treated as a definitive exam notice. [Scroll, 20 October 2025]
IOCL’s advertisement set the CBT duration at 150 minutes. Check the individual call letter for the candidate’s own schedule and centre rather than relying on a general date report. [IOCL detailed advertisement, 5 September 2025]
Documents required at the examination centre
IOCL required candidates to bring the call letter and an acceptable, currently valid photo identity document bearing exactly the same name. The notice required both the original ID and a photocopy. It listed these examples:
- PAN card, passport, permanent driving licence or voter card
- Photo bank passbook
- Eligible official identity document
- Recognized college or university ID
- Aadhaar or e-Aadhaar with photograph
- Employee ID or a Bar Council identity card with photograph
Ration cards and learner’s driving licences were explicitly not accepted as identity proof. The notice also said candidates arriving after the reporting time printed on the call letter would not be admitted. [IOCL detailed advertisement, 5 September 2025]

Current status of the 2025 recruitment
IOCL’s official listing records the CBT scorecard on 14 November 2025 and the final result on 10 December 2025. The admit-card notice is therefore a historical update, not a current announcement that the call letter has just been released. Candidates seeking their individual call letter should use the official listing and recruitment portal, bearing in mind that continued retrieval has not been confirmed. [IOCL Latest Job Openings]
