No. The Indian Navy’s SSC Jun 2027 application window is closed. The Navy’s homepage showed the extended deadline as 3 August 2026 and, as of 8 October 2026, said callups had been issued for SSBs scheduled in November–December 2026.
What the Navy’s current status means
The Indian Navy website labels the SSC Jun 2027 application window “Closed.” It also lists the SSC Jan 2027 application notice as closed. The homepage does not establish that another SSC application window is open, so do not treat an older advertisement or the issued SSB callups as an invitation to apply for Jun 2027.
SSB callups are for candidates who have reached that stage; they do not reopen the application window. The homepage’s status was checked on 8 October 2026.
Which dates belong to which course
| Course | Application dates or status | How to interpret it |
|---|---|---|
| SSC Jun 2027 | Closed; the Indian Navy homepage showed an extended closing date of 3 August 2026. | Current status reported by the Navy homepage as of 8 October 2026. |
| SSC Jun 2026 (AT 26) | Applications ran from 9 August to 1 September 2025. | Historical dates from the Indian Navy’s 2025 notice; they are not dates for Jun 2027. |
What to do if you want to apply in a future cycle
- Open the Indian Navy website and look for a newly published officer-entry advertisement. Check that its course name and application dates match the cycle you intend to apply for.
- Read that notice from start to finish before preparing an application. Entry-specific qualifications, marks, age limits, vacancies, medical standards and additional requirements can differ by branch and course.
- Use only the current notice’s application link and instructions. Do not rely on an old form, copied eligibility table or deadline.
- After applying, monitor the contact channels and any selection updates specified in that notice. The Jun 2026 notice, for example, said shortlisted candidates would receive SSB information by email or SMS and advised them to check spam folders; confirm the procedure in the notice for the cycle you apply to.
Why the Jun 2026 eligibility details cannot establish Jun 2027 eligibility
The detailed advertisement available for reference is for SSC Jun 2026 (AT 26), not Jun 2027. It invited eligible unmarried men and women to apply for several officer entries at the Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala. Its requirements varied by branch: Executive GS(X)/Hydro required a BE or BTech in any discipline with at least 60%; Logistics allowed several degree routes with first-class results; Law required a qualifying law degree with at least 55%; and technical entries specified accepted engineering streams and generally required at least 60%. Age ranges also varied.

Those examples illustrate why an applicant must match their qualifications and date of birth to the exact entry and course in a current notice. The Jun 2026 requirements do not establish the eligible degrees, marks, age cutoffs, vacancies or document rules for Jun 2027.
How selection worked under the Jun 2026 notice
For that historical course, the Navy first shortlisted applicants using normalized marks in their qualifying degree. Shortlisted candidates then attended the Services Selection Board (SSB) process and underwent a medical examination. The notice said final merit depended on SSB marks, medical clearance and available vacancies. These are the Jun 2026 notice’s stated stages; consult the relevant course advertisement for current-cycle rules.

Historical pay and service terms: Jun 2026 notice only
For personal financial planning, the Jun 2026 notice described a Short Service Commission initially for 12 years, with a possible extension of up to two years subject to service requirements, performance, medical eligibility and the candidate’s willingness. It also gave an approximate initial gross Sub Lieutenant salary of ₹1,10,000 per month, with applicable allowances. These are figures and conditions stated in the Indian Navy’s 2025 notice for Jun 2026, not confirmed terms for Jun 2027 or a promise of take-home pay.
