Its listing of an “Online Examination Call Letter Download Link” does not confirm that the old login link still works.

In a notice dated July 1, 2025, IOB said the online examination for Local Bank Officers would take place on July 12, 2025. The notice applied to registered candidates whose registration was complete, including payment of the required fee. IOB said the call letter and further details would be available on its website.

Hindustan Times reported that the admit cards had been released and described the download sequence: open the IOB Careers page, choose “Online Examination Call Letter Download Link,” enter login details, submit, and download the call letter. This is a reported process for the 2025 cycle, not confirmation that the former login endpoint remains active.

- Open IOB’s Careers page.
- Select “Online Examination Call Letter Download Link” from the Local Bank Officer recruitment materials.
- Enter the required login details and submit the form.
- Download and review the call letter, including its exam date, reporting time, and venue address.
Because the scheduled exam is over, these steps are historical. For any current recruitment or a later cycle, follow the latest notice and links on IOB’s Careers page rather than relying on an old download route.

IOB LBO exam date and pattern for the 2025–26 cycle
IOB’s 2025–26 candidate handout described a three-hour objective test with 140 questions and a maximum of 200 marks. The section-wise pattern was:

For that cycle, the handout set sectional qualifying marks at 30% for reserved candidates and 35% for unreserved candidates. A wrong answer attracted a deduction of one-quarter of the marks assigned to that question; an unanswered question carried no penalty. These rules describe the 2025–26 examination and should not be assumed to apply to a later recruitment cycle.

IOB’s handout instructed candidates to follow the specific details printed on their call letter. It said to arrive by the stated reporting time because latecomers would not be admitted. Candidates were told to bring:
- The call letter with a recent passport-size photograph pasted on it—the same photograph submitted with the application.
- A photocopy of photo identification attached to the call letter.
- The original of the same currently valid photo ID.
The handout listed examples of acceptable identification: PAN card, passport, permanent driving licence, voter card with photograph, photo bank passbook, Aadhaar or e-Aadhaar with photograph, employee ID, and specified official or educational IDs. It expressly excluded ration cards and learner’s driving licences. The actual call letter and bank notice govern any later exam.
Books, notes, mobile phones, calculators, and other listed stationery or electronic items were prohibited in the examination hall. The handout’s examples included a geometry or pencil box, plastic pouch, scale, writing pad, and pen drive, as well as communication devices.
