IBPS RRB XIII registration is not underway: the application and online fee-payment window ran from 7 to 27 June 2024. As of 8 October 2026, the current cycle is CRP RRBs XV, and its registration has also closed. Applicants who submitted for XV can still use the listed edit window through 8 October and print an application through 12 October 2026.
IBPS RRB XIII registration dates
The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) accepted online registration and fee payment for CRP RRBs XIII from 7 June through 27 June 2024, according to its XIII notification. That window is long closed; the 2024 dates should not be treated as the schedule for a current application.
What is the current IBPS RRB application status?
As of 8 October 2026, IBPS’s application portals identify the current recruitment cycle as CRP RRBs XV. Registration closed on 27 September 2026. The official portals list an application edit window from 7 to 8 October and an application-print deadline of 12 October 2026: see the Officer application portal and the Office Assistant application portal.
The remaining edit and print dates are time-sensitive. Check the relevant IBPS portal for the live status and any subsequent notice before relying on them. The Officer portal also cautions that submitting an online form does not establish that a candidate meets the notification criteria; applications are subject to scrutiny and may be rejected if the candidate is found ineligible. It limits an officer-cadre candidate to one post among Scale I, II or III.

Which posts are covered?
CRP RRBs XIII covered Group A Officers—Scale I, II and III—and Group B Office Assistants (Multipurpose). The current XV calendar likewise distinguishes Officer Scale I, Officer Scale II and III, and Office Assistant selection stages. The exact post requirements and conditions belong to the notification for the relevant cycle, not a previous year’s notice.

The calendar is explicitly tentative. Check later IBPS notices for confirmation, changes, and post-specific instructions.
How the selection stages differ
- Officer Scale I: preliminary examination followed by a main examination.
- Officer Scale II and Scale III: a single examination.
- Office Assistant (Multipurpose): preliminary examination followed by a main examination.
The calendar places the main/single examination on 20 December 2026; preliminary dates vary by post. For CRP RRBs XIII, the notification tentatively placed provisional allotment in January 2025, a historical date that does not describe the XV process.
Eligibility, fees and vacancies: use the correct notification
Do not carry eligibility cutoffs, application fees, vacancy counts or detailed exam-pattern claims over from XIII to XV. The XIII official notification establishes its registration schedule, but the information available for this article does not support safe figures for those items. For the current cycle, use the XV notification and its instructions for the chosen post. IBPS’s portal makes clear that online submission alone is not proof that the candidate meets the criteria.
