The ICAI declared the results of the Chartered Accountants Final and Intermediate examinations held in May 2023 on July 5, 2023. Its July 3 notice had said that date was likely; the Institute’s result index subsequently recorded the declaration.

Both results were declared on Wednesday, July 5, 2023. The examinations were held in May 2023; ICAI’s examination resources are grouped under its May/June 2023 page.

ICAI’s July 3, 2023 advance notice said the results were “likely” to be declared on July 5. The later result listing confirms that the results were declared that day. See ICAI’s 2023 announcement archive and its result announcement index.
How candidates checked the results
Contemporaneous result-day reports said candidates could check at icai.nic.in using their registration number and roll number. The Times of India reported that access began at 10:00 a.m.; that time is a reported detail, not one confirmed by the accessible ICAI archive. These instructions describe the 2023 result-day process and do not establish that the old result page remains available for a fresh check.
