USA Today reported that Hulu with ads cost $0.99 per month for 12 months during Cyber Week 2024. The reported price applied to Hulu’s ad-supported plan, not a Disney+ bundle. Because the $0.99 offer is historical and its official terms are not established here, it should not be treated as a deal a new subscriber can claim now. Nor is there enough information to state what a subscriber would have paid after the 12 months.
What does Hulu charge for its annual plan now?
Hulu’s official annual-offer page lists its ad-supported annual plan at $119.99 per year and says it automatically renews annually unless canceled. How did Hulu’s later Black Friday offer differ?
A later seasonal promotion bundled Disney+ and Hulu with ads at $4.99 per month for 12 months, according to Kiplinger. That offer ended December 1, 2025; it was a different bundle at a different price, and its expiration does not establish whether Hulu has a 2026 Black Friday deal. Past promotions have varied. In 2019, Hulu Press announced a separate offer for new subscribers at $1.99 per month for one year, followed by $5.99 per month. What should you check before signing up?
- Confirm the offer is live. A past Black Friday price in an article or search result is not proof that Hulu is currently offering it.
- Read the checkout terms. Verify the plan, promotional duration, who qualifies, when the offer ends, and the price and billing frequency after the promotion.
- Compare the plan you actually want. The 2024 report concerned Hulu with ads alone; the later 2025 promotion was a Disney+ and Hulu bundle. They are not interchangeable offers.
- Check renewal settings. Hulu’s listed annual plan renews yearly unless canceled. Review the terms shown for any different subscription before completing signup.
