- £1.5 million in additional shares: In 2019, Plymouth Argyle said Hallett bought a further £1.5 million of shares, taking his shareholding at that time to 97.19% (Plymouth Argyle, 2019). That historical percentage differs from the club’s later reported 86.99%.
- £12,437,500 in loans: BBC Sport reported that club accounts showed Hallett lent Argyle this amount between July 2024 and December 2025, including £9,808,539 from July 2025 onward (BBC Sport). A loan is financing for the club, not a disclosure of the lender’s net worth.
- A further £15 million: ITV News reported in April 2026 that Hallett put a further £15 million of personal funds into the club (ITV News West Country). The report does not provide a total personal net-worth estimate.
Does his investment-management career reveal his wealth?
Hallett’s professional background is relevant context, but a senior role does not disclose an individual’s personal fortune. In 2019, the club described him as a partner and co-chief investment officer at Harding Loevner (Plymouth Argyle, 2019).
