What is Leicester City owner Top’s estimated net worth?
The latest estimate cited here is US$2.4 billion, or 78.4 billion baht, for Aiyawatt “Top” Srivaddhanaprabha and his family together. Forbes placed the family ninth on its 2026 Thailand rich list. The valuation snapshot is dated June 18, 2026, so the figure should be understood as an estimate for that date, not a live account balance. Forbes’ 2026 list announcement and Forbes Thailand’s list identify the estimate as belonging to Srivaddhanaprabha and family.
Why this is a family estimate, not a personal balance sheet
Forbes’ Thailand list includes shared fortunes across extended families. Its methodology draws on information from listed families and individuals, stock exchanges, regulators and other sources. It values public holdings using share prices and exchange rates on June 18, 2026, and estimates private-company values by comparing them with similar publicly traded businesses. The baht conversion uses the Bank of Thailand exchange rate on that date.
No personal-only net-worth figure or official personal balance sheet for Aiyawatt is established by these sources. The US$2.4 billion estimate is attributed to him and his family collectively; it is not an audited disclosure of his individual assets.

How the estimate compares with 2025
Forbes’ 2025 Thailand list put the family’s estimated wealth at US$3.5 billion. The 2026 list’s US$2.4 billion estimate is lower, but the two figures are annual family-level estimates, not audited accounts of Aiyawatt’s personal finances. They do not establish that he personally lost US$1.1 billion in cash or wealth.

What his ownership of Leicester City tells you—and what it does not
Aiyawatt is Leicester City’s chairman. The club’s company-details page lists him as an ultimate beneficial individual owner with 58.1% and names other family members as owners. Separately, UK Companies House records him as holding 75% or more of shares and voting rights in Leicester City Football Club Limited, with the right to appoint or remove directors. These are distinct records with different descriptions; they should not be combined into one ownership percentage or treated as a calculation of his personal wealth.

Why club investment is not the same as personal wealth
Leicester City announced in January 2025 that new shares issued to King Power International and Aiyawatt converted £124 million of club debt into equity. The club also said the Srivaddhanaprabha family’s cumulative investment during its ownership had passed £420 million. Those figures describe club financing and historical family investment—not Aiyawatt’s personal net worth, cash on hand or future spending capacity.
In February 2023, the club said it had capitalised more than £194 million in loans and related interest into equity issued to King Power International, which it described as wholly owned by the Srivaddhanaprabha family. The club’s announcement quoted Aiyawatt saying: “Maintaining long-term stability is vital for sustainable growth and a fundamental principle that has always guided our investments in the Club’s future.”
