To remove a saved card, open DoorDash’s payment settings, find the card, and use the removal control. In the mobile app, swipe left on the card and tap Delete. On the desktop website, go to Account > Payment and select the control beside the card.
Remove a card in the DoorDash app
iPhone or iPad
- Open DoorDash and tap Account.
- Under Account Settings, tap Payment.
- Swipe left on the saved card and tap Delete.
Android
- Open DoorDash and tap the icon in the upper-left corner.
- Tap Payment Methods.
- Swipe left on the saved card and tap Delete.
These steps follow DoorDash’s consumer help instructions. App labels and layouts may change; if the control looks different, follow the current on-screen removal prompt.

Remove a card on the DoorDash website
- Sign in to DoorDash.
- Open Account in the lower-left corner, then choose Payment.
- Use the removal control beside the card. DoorDash’s separate payment-removal guidance describes this control as a trash icon.
Replacing a card or changing which one is used
If you are switching cards, add the replacement before removing the existing card. DoorDash says the last credit card used remains the default for placing an order. If you keep multiple cards, check which one is marked as the default after making changes.
If DoorDash will not let you remove the card
The official instructions do not say whether every account can remove its only saved card or whether an active order or subscription can block removal. If the option is missing or removal is declined, ask DoorDash about your account rather than trying an unverified workaround. DoorDash lists in-app chat and phone support at 855-431-0459, available 24/7, on its account-help page.
