Set up your Ralphs account and link your card
- Create or sign in to a Ralphs digital account. Ralphs’ coupon policy requires a valid Shopper’s Card or Alternate ID to create a digital account. Ralphs Digital Coupon FAQs and The Kroger Company coupon policy describe these requirements.
- Connect your Shopper’s Card or Alt ID. In your account profile, use the Shopper’s Card Number edit control to add or verify the loyalty identifier. This is the account the coupons will load to. If you do not have a card number, Ralphs says a virtual card number or virtual Alt ID can be created.
You can select coupons through the Ralphs website or app. The FAQ supports both; the app is not required according to Ralphs’ sign-in page excerpt, though that page was unavailable when opened. Ralphs’ app information is at Ralphs app.
Find and load digital coupons
- Sign in and choose Save > Digital Coupons from the main navigation.
- Review the offer details, including the qualifying product and expiration date.
- Select Load to Card on each coupon you want. Coupons are selected individually; merely viewing or showing an offer on your phone at checkout does not redeem it.
Ralphs says a coupon is available as soon as it is loaded, although connection or network problems may prevent the load from completing. Most offers can be loaded only once per household. The expiration date and product conditions are specific to each offer, so check the coupon details rather than assuming a general date or eligibility rule.
Match the offer to the product you buy
Before adding an item to your cart, check the coupon’s full terms. The Kroger Company policy says the product must match the offer and manufacturer restrictions; conditions can specify brand, size, quantity, color, or flavor. Expired coupons are not accepted. Product availability also varies by store, and Ralphs does not guarantee that every location stocks every couponed item.

Redeem coupons in store or online
In-store purchase
- Buy the qualifying item in the offer’s required quantity and form.
- At checkout, scan your Shopper’s Card or enter the Alt ID associated with the account where you loaded the coupon.
- Allow the register to apply the discount automatically; you do not need to present the digital coupon separately.
Online purchase
Ralphs’ FAQ says qualifying items may also be purchased online, with the discount applied automatically. Sign in to the account linked to the loaded coupons and confirm the offer applies to the qualifying item in your order.
Check whether the discount applied
For an in-store purchase, check the receipt beneath the qualifying item. Ralphs identifies the “ecpn” line as the indication that a digital coupon was redeemed. A redeemed offer may disappear from Active Coupons immediately, while the Redeemed Coupons list may take until the next business day to update. Check the receipt first if the online list has not caught up.

Know the household limits and coupon order
- Load limit: Most offers can be loaded only once per household, though the offer’s own terms govern where they differ.
- Redemption limit: The general Kroger Company policy limits the same coupon to three redemptions per day per household unless the coupon says otherwise.
- One coupon per item: The policy allows one store or manufacturer coupon—paper or digital—per item.
- Discount order: Digital coupons and offers are deducted before paper coupons or other discounts. Once the card is scanned, they cannot be added back or removed.
Ralphs says its coupons may be used at Kroger-family stores if the product is in stock. A rain check or make-good offer is at the manager’s discretion. Store managers may also accept, decline, or limit coupon use. If you have a Shopper’s Card but no digital account, you may ask an associate at the customer-service desk about discounted pricing and show the card or provide the Alt ID.
Troubleshoot a coupon that will not load or apply
The coupon button sends you back to sign-in
Open your account profile and verify that the Shopper’s Card number or Alt ID is listed. Confirm you are signing in to the account linked to that identifier. If the loop continues, contact Ralphs Customer Service.

The discount did not appear at checkout
First check that the exact qualifying product and quantity were purchased, the offer had not expired, and the correct card or Alt ID was used. If the register still omits the discount, ask the cashier while you are still at checkout. If you have already left, contact Ralphs Customer Service.
The offer is missing from Redeemed Coupons
Use the receipt as the first check: an “ecpn” line beneath the qualifying item indicates redemption. Ralphs says the Redeemed Coupons tab may update by the next business day.

The store does not have the couponed item
Inventory differs by store, and Ralphs does not guarantee that every location carries every eligible product. Any rain check or make-good offer is up to the store manager.
You cannot remove a loaded offer
Most, but not all, coupons can be removed from My Coupons. An offer may be non-removable if it came from a targeted promotion, partner site, or another household member.
