Canceling an OnlyFans subscription stops future renewal; it does not automatically refund a payment for a subscription period that has already begun. OnlyFans’ published fan guidance says subscriptions and other listed purchases are non-refundable unless there has been a Terms of Service violation. If you believe that exception applies, contact the platform. If a charge was unauthorized or posted after you canceled, save your records and consider disputing it with your card issuer.
Does canceling an OnlyFans subscription get your money back?
No. Cancellation and a refund are separate. Canceling prevents future renewal, but it does not by itself return a fee already paid for an active subscription period. OnlyFans’ published fan guidance says: “All subscriptions, tips, streams, paid posts and paid messages are non-refundable unless there has been a violation of OnlyFans’ Terms of Service.” The page attributes this policy to OnlyFans Community Guidelines and was updated November 25, 2025: OnlyFans Community Guidelines.

That policy describes an exception for a Terms of Service violation; it does not establish that every cancellation qualifies for a refund. Your options also depend on what the charge was for, when it posted, and the consumer protections that apply where you live.
First, identify what happened
Check your account’s subscription status and compare the transaction date with the date you canceled. The distinction matters: a payment for a period that began before cancellation is different from a new renewal charge posted afterward. Also check whether the transaction was yours; an unfamiliar or unauthorized charge calls for a different response than a purchase you made and later regretted.

- Possible Terms of Service violation: Ask OnlyFans to review the transaction under its stated exception.
- Charge after cancellation: Preserve proof of cancellation and the charge, then contact the platform. If it is not resolved, ask your card issuer about disputing it.
- Unauthorized charge: Contact your card issuer if the company will not refund it, and retain records of the charge and your communications.
How to request a refund from OnlyFans
- Gather the relevant details. Note the transaction and cancellation dates, the amount, and what you believe violated the Terms of Service. Keep any supporting material and messages related to the purchase.
- Contact the platform through its current support route. OnlyFans’ published guidance directs fans who believe a Terms of Service violation occurred to email [email protected]. For other issues, use the help or contact option currently available in your account; menu labels and routes can vary.
- Explain the request accurately. Identify the transaction and why you believe the stated exception applies. Do not describe an ordinary cancellation as a Terms of Service violation if that is not what happened.
- Keep a copy. Save your message and any response. The FTC recommends retaining cancellation records and related communications: FTC guidance on keeping cancellation records.
The published guidance does not specify a universal refund form, required evidence list, or response time. Do not assume a request will be approved or processed within a particular period.
When to contact your card issuer
If a charge posted after you canceled, or you did not authorize it, contact the merchant first when appropriate and keep a record of what you sent. If the issue is not resolved, ask the card issuer about its dispute process and provide accurate information. A card dispute is not the same as an OnlyFans refund request, and neither route guarantees a particular outcome. Use the dispute process for the facts that actually apply; do not claim a charge was unauthorized if you made the purchase.

The cited legislation page is a point-in-time view as of January 1, 2026, and reports changes known to be in force through October 4, 2026. It does not, by itself, establish that every canceled subscription must be refunded: Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024. Check the rules applicable to your situation rather than assuming the US guidance or UK legislation governs you.
