To find your Apple Card CVV and expiration date, open Wallet on your iPhone, tap Apple Card, tap the card-number icon, then authenticate with Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode. Apple calls the CVV the security code; the card information screen shows it alongside your virtual card number and expiration date.
Find your Apple Card details on iPhone
- Open the Wallet app and tap Apple Card.
- Tap the card-number icon.
- Authenticate with Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode.
- View the virtual card number, expiration date, and security code on the card information screen.
If the card-number icon is missing, Apple says to update iOS. Follow Apple’s instructions for finding Apple Card numbers.
Find your Apple Card details on iPad
- Open Settings and scroll to Wallet & Apple Pay.
- Tap Apple Card, then tap Info.
- Tap Card Information and authenticate.
- View the virtual card number, expiration date, and security code.
Why the titanium card has no CVV printed on it
The titanium Apple Card does not show its card number or other secure information, so you cannot find the full number or security code by inspecting the physical card. If you need the titanium card’s last four digits, open the card-number area in Wallet on iPhone and tap Additional Card Numbers. On iPad, find Additional Card Numbers from Card Information. That area also shows the titanium card’s expiration date and the last four digits of the Apple Pay card number. See Apple’s card-number guidance.
Check the current security code when you need it
If you enable Advanced Fraud Protection, Apple Card’s three-digit security code changes periodically after it has been viewed in Wallet or autofilled from Safari. Check the code each time you need it rather than relying on one you saved earlier. You can enable the feature from the card-number area in Wallet on iPhone or from Card Number in iPad settings. What to know about access and availability
Apple Card is available to qualifying applicants in the United States and requires adding the card to Wallet on a supported iPhone or iPad running the latest iOS or iPadOS. Apple identifies Goldman Sachs Bank USA, Salt Lake City Branch, as the issuer. The virtual card number can be used when Apple Pay is not supported; the titanium card is another option for in-person payments. See Apple’s iPhone guide to Apple Card.
Apple says displaying card details requires Face ID, Touch ID, or a passcode. Its Apple Card security guide also explains that the cardholder can replace the virtual number from card information.
