Activate your ReleasePay card through the official ReleasePay website: choose ACTIVATE CARD to open its linked activation portal, then enter the requested cardholder, card and contact details. ReleasePay also offers activation by phone at 833-644-0714. Your card is not active when you receive it.
Activate your ReleasePay card online

Go to releasepay.com and select ACTIVATE CARD. The link on ReleasePay’s site opens its activation portal at processing.network/registration/releasepay/.

Complete the portal’s requested fields: your last name, date of birth in month/day/year format, 16-digit card number, expiration date, email address and mobile number. The page also asks you to agree to the cardholder agreement.

Submit the information through that portal to continue activation. The official pages do not state how long activation takes, so do not assume a particular processing time.

Fees and other ways to receive funds
ReleasePay says card fees and terms are governed by the cardholder agreement. Its FAQ identifies paper check and ACH as no-cost ways to receive funds, while card disbursements may be subject to fees. Check the current agreement for applicable terms and charges; specific fee amounts are not established here.

Where the card can be used and purchase holds
ReleasePay says the card can be used wherever Mastercard is accepted and may be used as credit or debit. Its FAQ recommends checking your balance before making a purchase. ReleasePay also advises paying inside at gas stations with a specified amount because paying at the pump may create a temporary hold. For restaurant transactions, ReleasePay says some merchants may authorize up to 25% above the purchase amount to account for gratuity; a balance that does not cover the authorization may result in a decline.
Lost or stolen card
If a registered card is lost or stolen, contact ReleasePay promptly. The homepage lists 877-592-1118 for lost or stolen card assistance.
