And KSI did not complete the club’s takeover: Happy Fan Group acquired the shares previously held by Club Underdog in February 2026; KSI joined later as a minority shareholder and strategic partner.
What is known about KSI’s wealth?
The sources reporting KSI’s investment do not establish his current personal net worth or how much he paid for his Dagenham & Redbridge shares. FourFourTwo’s July 2026 interview discusses his ambitions and public profile but does not supply a net-worth valuation or purchase price. Without a credible, attributable figure and a clear basis for it, a precise estimate would be speculation.
BBC Sport reported that KSI bought a 20% stake. That tells readers the reported size of his shareholding, not the club’s value, the amount he invested, or the value of his personal assets. The purchase price and his precise investment commitment have not been disclosed in the cited coverage.
Did KSI take over Dagenham & Redbridge?
No. The controlling takeover and KSI’s later investment were separate events. On 16 February 2026, Dagenham & Redbridge announced that Happy Fan Group, LLC, led by John Grabowski, had acquired shares previously held by Club Underdog, Inc. The club said the National League approved the takeover and required FA approvals had been granted. Grabowski said the group’s “immediate focus is on establishing a strong, professional foundation for the future.” Club announcement, 16 February 2026.

On 3 March, the club announced KSI as a shareholder and strategic partner. BBC Sport described him as a minority investor on 3 March and reported the 20% stake on 5 March. What KSI has said about the club’s future
KSI has framed a return to the Premier League as an ambition, not a near-term forecast. In the club’s March announcement, he said, “Reaching the Premier League would be a dream. And I believe it is 100% doable.” He also asked supporters to be patient: “It will take a long time, so to the Daggers fans, please be patient.” The club release quotes him saying he was committed to helping make the team known worldwide. The scale of that ambition is clear from the club’s recent league history. BBC Sport reported that Dagenham left the English Football League in the 2015–16 season and were relegated to National League South at the end of 2024–25. BBC Sport quoted Dan Plumley, a principal lecturer in sport finance at Sheffield Hallam University, saying that returns for celebrity investors are uncertain and that football-club investors often lose money. He described the climb from Dagenham’s position toward the Premier League as a major financial challenge; any return would depend on time and sporting success.
