There is no current official player-to-player price to quote for Black Ice in Rainbow Six Siege. Ubisoft said on June 30, 2026, that the Siege Marketplace would remain closed while it rebuilds the trading system. Black Ice was historically sold for R6 Credits during Season One, but Ubisoft’s announcement does not give a price—and that old offer does not establish what the skin is worth today.
What “worth” means for Black Ice
Black Ice is a Rainbow Six Siege weapon skin that Ubisoft said could be applied to weapons in a player’s arsenal. Its value depends on which question you mean:
- Historical purchase price: Ubisoft documented a Season One offer for R6 Credits, but the cited announcement does not state the price.
- Current Marketplace price: There is no official current listing price to check while the Marketplace is closed.
- Cash value or desirability: The official sources cited here do not establish a fixed real-money equivalent, current demand measure, or rarity statistic. Personal preference is not a market valuation.
Why there is no current Marketplace quote
In its June 30, 2026 update, Ubisoft said, “As we continue rebalancing the economy, Marketplace will remain closed.” Ubisoft said it was rebuilding the trading system and addressing security and economy concerns. That closure means historical listings or Marketplace rules should not be treated as evidence of a price available now.
Before the closure, Ubisoft’s Marketplace instructions described a system in which buyers placed maximum R6 Credit offers, sellers set asking prices, and the service sought the lowest available match. Ubisoft also documented a transaction fee of 10% of the sale amount. Those are historical platform mechanics, not an available way to buy or sell Black Ice while the Marketplace is closed. The instructions also say only currently tradable items appear for purchase; they do not establish that every Black Ice skin can be traded.

What Ubisoft says about the original offer
Ubisoft’s Operation Black Ice announcement describes the Black Ice weapon skin as exclusively for sale with R6 Credits during Season One. It does not provide a numeric price in the cited material. This establishes the currency and the historical sales period, not a present-day value or a real-money conversion.
Ubisoft explains that R6 Credits can be bought through the in-game Shop or Ubisoft Store and spent on Operators, gear, weapons, and customisations. That makes R6 Credits relevant context for the old offer, but the currency’s availability does not give Black Ice a fixed cash value. Current credit bundles and featured shop items likewise do not set a standalone price for the skin.

Do Black Ice Packs establish a value?
No. Ubisoft’s Battle Pass page lists two Black Ice Packs among rewards for the Split Fire Premium Pass. That is season-specific reward information; it does not establish the price, odds of receiving a particular skin, or current resale value of an individual Black Ice item. No drop probability is stated in the cited official material.
