There is no single wait time for getting Robux: it depends on whether you bought them, redeemed a code, earned them from a sale, or received a transfer. Roblox says completed purchases delayed by an outage or maintenance are applied within an hour in most cases and within 24 hours at most. That estimate applies to service disruptions—not every purchase.
How long does it take to get Robux?
| How you get Robux | What triggers the Robux | What Roblox says about timing | Where to check |
|---|---|---|---|
| Direct purchase | Purchase completion | During an outage or maintenance, Roblox says completed purchases are applied within an hour in most cases and within 24 hours at most. It does not state a universal delivery window for purchases outside that situation. Roblox Support | Account balance and My Transactions |
| Gift card or retail code | Successful code redemption | Roblox’s redemption instructions do not give a general processing-time estimate. Roblox Support Roblox Support | Confirmation message after redemption; account balance |
| Experience Pass sale | Release from pending escrow | Earnings may be held in pending status; Roblox does not specify a release duration. Roblox Support | My Transactions |
| Transfer | Recipient accepts and completes an eligible transfer | Roblox says a completed transfer is added instantly. Eligibility and any required approvals can affect completion. Roblox Support | Account balance and My Transactions |
| Premium stipend | Monthly membership award | Roblox says Premium members receive a stipend once every month, but its balance guidance does not establish a universal posting date or amount. Roblox Support | My Transactions |
Where are my Robux?
First, make sure you are signed in to the account that made the purchase, redeemed the code, or earned the Robux. Your balance is visible in the app or on the Roblox website. On the web, select your Robux balance to open My Transactions, where Roblox lists categories including currency purchases, Premium stipends, purchases, sales of goods, creator rewards, and group payouts. - For a purchase: Check the balance and currency-purchase history on the purchasing account.
- For a code: Look for the successful redemption confirmation and check the account that was signed in when you redeemed it.
- For creator earnings: Check the relevant sales or creator transaction entry for pending status.
- For a transfer: Confirm that the transfer was accepted and completed, rather than merely initiated.
How to redeem a Roblox gift card or retail code
- Open roblox.com/redeem in a web browser and sign in to the account that should receive the credit.
- Enter the code and submit it.
- Check for the confirmation message that indicates successful redemption, then check that account’s balance.
Roblox’s instructions do not promise that a code must take a set number of hours to appear. Retail codes credit the account signed in when the code is redeemed, so verify the account before submitting a code. Roblox Support Roblox Support
Why purchased Robux may not appear yet
Roblox’s published one-hour-to-24-hour estimate is specifically for completed purchases delayed by an outage or maintenance. If there is no reported service issue, its support guidance does not give a general delivery deadline. Check the correct account and transaction history rather than treating that outage estimate as a guarantee for every purchase. Roblox Support

- Deck out your avatar and unlock additional perks in your favorite experiences when you use Roblox Gift Cards to purchase Robux (Roblox's virtual currency).
- Each gift card grants a free virtual item upon redemption.
Also distinguish a completed purchase from a temporary card entry. A declined charge or temporary verification charge may appear as pending and later return to the card; Roblox says this can take 1–10 business days. That is a card-refund timing estimate, not a Robux delivery estimate. Roblox Support
Why creator earnings may be pending
Robux from Experience Pass sales can remain in pending escrow before becoming available. Roblox describes the earnings as held in pending status until released, but does not specify how long that takes. Check My Transactions for the relevant sale and its status; do not assume a fixed release date. Roblox Support Roblox Support
