As of October 8, 2026, the page says, “Black Friday is over, but the deals live on,” and points shoppers to current phone and plan offers. Those live promotions are not confirmed Black Friday deals, so check the page again when Fido posts its campaign terms.

Fido’s Black Friday page currently says, “Black Friday is over, but the deals live on.” It directs shoppers to ongoing offers and links to phones, phone plans, bring-your-own-phone (BYOD) plans, and internet. The page does not establish 2026 Black Friday prices, discounts, eligibility rules, or deadlines.

That distinction matters: an offer visible on Fido’s site today may be available outside the Black Friday campaign. Don’t treat a live promotion—or a deal from a previous year—as a 2026 Black Friday offer unless Fido’s current terms identify it as one.

Fido’s promotions page lists phone offers involving financing, trade-ins, and certified pre-owned devices. Its promotional phone categories include iPhone, Galaxy, and Pixel models. Models, prices, inventory, and conditions can change; review the terms attached to the specific device before deciding.

Keep the handset price separate from the service plan price. A displayed monthly financing amount is not necessarily the total monthly cost of getting and using the phone. Check whether the device offer requires an eligible plan, includes bill credits, or depends on keeping the financing arrangement for a stated term.
Plans, BYOD, and internet
Fido’s plans page includes 5G plans, plan-only and plan-plus-phone options, BYOD plans, and roaming options. A BYOD plan lets you use a compatible phone you already own or buy separately, rather than financing a handset through Fido. Fido notes that offers may change without notice.
The Black Friday page also points to internet offers. Check the terms and availability for your location directly; the current seasonal page does not establish a 2026 Black Friday internet discount.

Compare the full cost over the same period, not just the advertised device payment or plan price. A handset promotion may be worthwhile, but only if its required plan and conditions suit your needs.

- Choose the service you need. Compare plan data, coverage in the places you use your phone, hotspot needs, and roaming requirements against the monthly plan price.
- Calculate plan-only cost. For a BYOD option, include the plan cost over the period you want to compare. If you need a new phone, add its separate purchase or financing cost.
- Calculate phone-plus-plan cost. Add the service charges and device payments across the advertised financing term. Include any bill credits only as stated in the offer terms.
- Check conditions and extras. Look for eligible-plan requirements, financing duration, approved-credit conditions, trade-in requirements, taxes, stated setup charges, and any discount that depends on staying for the full term.
- Compare the same model and period. For a certified pre-owned phone, check the exact model and storage, condition, warranty and return terms, available inventory, and total financing cost against the new-device option.
Buying an unlocked phone separately
Buying an unlocked smartphone from a retailer is a separate route from Fido’s carrier financing or promotions. A retail phone does not include Fido service and should not be assumed to qualify for Fido device financing or bill credits. If you compare an unlocked phone with a carrier offer, use the same phone model where possible and add the Fido BYOD plan cost to the retail purchase price.
When to check for 2026 Black Friday terms
Fido’s official Black Friday page is the place to check whether the campaign has been announced. Once a specific offer appears, read its linked terms before ordering and confirm the price, eligible plans, duration, credits, fees, taxes, and end date. The current page does not verify any 2026 campaign offer or deadline.
