Priscilla Presley’s documented income story spans entertainment and writing, business work connected to the Presley estate, and a reported settlement involving Lisa Marie Presley’s trust. But the title’s $50 million is not a verified current net-worth figure: public estimates conflict, and a separate $50 million figure in 2025 coverage was damages former business partners sought in a lawsuit.
How Priscilla Presley built her career and financial profile
Presley’s financial story is not a single inheritance or a publicly documented fortune. It includes decades of entertainment and business work, a role in developing the commercial organization around Elvis Presley’s legacy, and reported terms from a later trust settlement. Available sources establish those activities and some specific payments, but do not provide a complete accounting of her personal income, assets, or liabilities.
Work in entertainment, business, and design
Grand Central Publishing describes Presley as a businesswoman, author, designer, producer, and actor. The publisher also credits her with helping develop Elvis Presley Enterprises (EPE) and turn Graceland into an international destination. These descriptions document the breadth of her career, not what she earned from any one role.
Books and adaptations
Presley’s 1985 memoir, Elvis and Me, was later adapted into Sofia Coppola’s 2023 film, according to Biography.com. Grand Central Publishing announced her later memoir, Softly, as I Leave You: Life After Elvis, for publication on September 23, 2025, in hardcover, e-book, and audiobook editions. The publisher’s announcement establishes the book and its scheduled formats; neither source states sales, advances, or royalty totals. Grand Central Publishing’s announcement also carries a statement attributed to Presley about writing the memoir and reflecting on her life.

Her role in the Presley estate—and what it does not prove
Presley’s official biography says she became co-executor of the Presley Estate in 1979, after Vernon Presley’s death, and helped build its commercial organization. The biography lists Graceland, worldwide licensing, merchandising, music publishing, and television and video projects among its business areas. Her official biography is an account of her role; it is not a personal balance sheet or proof that she owned all the assets or received all the revenue.
The official description of EPE says it manages Graceland operations and produces and licenses Elvis-themed tours, events, and attractions. EPE’s description helps explain the commercial legacy she helped develop, but Graceland, EPE, and the broader Presley estate should not be treated as synonymous with Priscilla Presley’s personal wealth.

What the reported Lisa Marie Presley trust settlement provided
In reporting on the court-approved 2023 settlement, the Los Angeles Times said Riley Keough became sole trustee of Lisa Marie Presley’s trust and Priscilla resigned as co-trustee. The report said the settlement provided Priscilla with a $1 million lump sum, funded from Lisa Marie’s life-insurance policy, and $100,000 annually for a nonfiduciary special-advisor role, guaranteed for ten years or until Priscilla’s death. Those reported terms are specific to the settlement; they do not establish that Priscilla inherited Graceland or took ownership of Elvis Presley’s estate.
Is Priscilla Presley worth $50 million?
No public audited financial disclosure in the sources cited here verifies that figure. The estimates reported by two publications differ substantially:

| Figure | What it represents | Source and qualification |
|---|---|---|
| $10 million | Estimated net worth | Celebrity Net Worth; page marked last updated September 16, 2026. It is an estimator’s figure, not an audited disclosure. |
| $50 million | Estimated net worth | Men’s Health attributed this figure to Celebrity Net Worth in November 2023. It is an older estimate and is inconsistent with the later figure above. |
| More than $50 million | Damages sought in a lawsuit | The Associated Press reported in August 2025 that former business partners sought this amount. It is a demand for damages, not a net-worth estimate or a court judgment. |
The discrepancy between the two net-worth estimates is a reason not to present $50 million—or $10 million—as established fact. A lawsuit’s requested damages are a separate kind of number altogether.

In August 2025, the Associated Press reported that former business partners sought more than $50 million in damages in a lawsuit involving Presley. The AP also reported Presley’s separate claims against them. These are competing allegations; the report does not establish either side’s claims as findings of fact. The amount requested in litigation measures a party’s stated demand for relief, not Presley’s assets or net worth. The Associated Press report describes the dispute as it stood at that time.
