Nintendo of Canada’s Boxing Week announcement, published December 22, 2025, listed two hardware bundles, six Nintendo Switch games for $59.99 each, selected digital discounts, and a storage-card offer. These were holiday promotions, not current deals: Nintendo’s digital sale ended January 4, 2026, and its announcement does not confirm present-day prices or stock.
Hardware bundles
| Bundle | Announced price | Included value and availability |
|---|---|---|
| Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World Bundle | $699.99 | Includes a digital download of Mario Kart World. Nintendo said the game represented $39.99 in added value versus buying the game and system separately at suggested retail prices. Available while supplies lasted. |
| Nintendo Switch + Nintendo Switch Sports + Leg Strap Bundle | $419.99 suggested retail price | Canada-exclusive bundle. Nintendo said the game, system, and leg strap represented $69.98 in added value versus separate suggested retail prices. |
Nintendo’s stated added-value figures compare suggested retail prices; they do not establish the checkout savings at any particular retailer.
Nintendo Switch games listed at $59.99
Nintendo described each of these six games as a $25 saving in its Boxing Week announcement:
- New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe
- Super Mario Odyssey
- The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom
- Super Mario RPG
- Super Mario Bros. Wonder
- Animal Crossing: New Horizons
The announcement also named NBA 2K26, Split Fiction, EA SPORTS Madden NFL 26, Assassin’s Creed Shadows, and WWE 2K25 Standard Edition as having “significant savings,” but did not specify a price for those titles.

Where offers applied—and what to verify
The announcement covers Canada. Some game offers were available at select local retailers and on My Nintendo Store beginning December 24, while retailer offer dates and actual savings could vary. Nintendo said stock was limited and that offers may vary by retailer. Its invitation to demo Switch 2 games at select EB Games, Walmart, Best Buy, and London Drugs stores was about demo locations, not confirmation that each store carried every advertised offer.
Because these were time-limited 2025 holiday promotions, check a retailer’s live Canadian listing for the current price, format, stock, and offer dates before buying. The Nintendo announcement confirms the historical offers, not any replacement deal.
