What is known about Hasan Piker’s Los Angeles home?
A 2021 Independent photo caption described Piker as responding to criticism over buying a “$2.7m home in Los Angeles for himself and his family.” That is a historical reported purchase amount, not a current property valuation. The commentary and caption do not establish the home’s financing, its present value, or his current residence. The Independent’s August 23, 2021 article is the source for that figure.
In a 2026 livestream transcript, Piker referred to having a home in Los Angeles and described it as a home base, while joking that he is often away. That supports only what he said about a home base at that time; it does not verify ownership or property value. The transcript does not substitute for property records.
What has Piker said he spends money on?
A leased Porsche
Asked by WIRED what he first splurged on after earning money on Twitch, Piker recalled: “I leased a Porsche, and I got canceled for it. Everybody yelled at me for it, and they still do.” It was a lease, according to his account—not evidence that he bought or still owns the car.

Travel, hobbies, and shopping
Piker has said he can now fly business class and is not especially invested in cars or a gun collection. He mentioned anime figurines and manga among his interests. These are his own descriptions, not an independently verified inventory or a breakdown of how much he spends.
On shopping rules, he told WIRED: “Not really. I abide by BDS to the best of my ability, and outside of that, I don’t have any restrictions. I don’t do anything. I just do this. So, there isn’t a lot of opportunity for me to splurge on anything.” He also described his fashion as partly a costume for his on-camera persona. Taken together, those comments offer a glimpse of how he characterizes his lifestyle, not a complete account of his purchases.

What does his streaming setup include?
In the same interview, Piker described a professional studio setup: four cameras, three light boxes, multiple camera angles, a RØDECaster Pro II, several Shure SM7B microphones, and a desktop PC with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090. He also said beginners can start with a laptop or phone, so his setup should not be read as a minimum budget for starting to stream.

There is a model-name discrepancy in the camera references: Piker identified his cameras as LUMIX BGH1, while WIRED’s product card calls the camera a LUMIX BS1H. The available account does not resolve which model he uses. These gear details describe equipment he named; they do not establish its total cost or the amount he has invested in his studio.
How much time does he put into streaming?
A Guardian profile published December 11, 2025, described Piker’s broadcasts as typically lasting seven or eight hours. It quoted him saying: “I’ve lowered it to seven hours a day, but sometimes I still do eight. And on top of that, I’ll take Sundays off now.” That is a profile-era description of his schedule, which may have changed. Long hours are relevant context for his creator work, but they do not reveal his income.

The clearest answer is therefore limited: Piker has publicly described leasing a Porsche, business-class travel, and a few personal interests; reporting recorded a $2.7 million home purchase in 2021; and he has named substantial streaming equipment. None of those facts proves what he is worth today or how he spends every dollar.
