Andy Cohen’s publicly documented work spans television hosting and production, radio, and publishing. He has also described buying a Rolex, multiple New York apartments and first-class flights—while taking the subway around New York. His exact salary, assets and net worth have not been publicly established in the sources cited here, so widely repeated fortune figures should be treated as estimates, not confirmed facts.
How Andy Cohen earns money
Cohen has several documented professional roles, but the public biographies and announcements do not disclose what he earns from them.
- Television: Bravo identifies him as host and executive producer of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen (WWHL), and as an executive producer across The Real Housewives franchise. He also hosts reunions and specials.
- Development: NBCUniversal announced on June 13, 2025, that Cohen’s first-look development deal was extended through 2028. A first-look deal is evidence of an ongoing professional arrangement, not a public salary figure.
- Radio: Bravo’s biography says he curates two SiriusXM channels.
- Books: He is an author and heads his own book imprint. Bravo describes him as a five-time New York Times bestselling author. His books and publishing work are documented; their contribution to his income is not.
NBCUniversal also announced that WWHL was renewed through 2027. The renewal and deal extension establish the announced terms of his work, not his compensation. In that announcement, Cohen said he was grateful to continue working at Bravo and to grow projects across NBCUniversal’s portfolio. Read NBCUniversal’s June 13, 2025 announcement. Bravo’s biography of Andy Cohen lists his roles and author credentials.
How Andy Cohen has described spending his money
The examples below come from Cohen’s own comments as recounted by Bravo; they are selective anecdotes, not a full accounting of his spending.
#1 Best Overall
A Rolex
In comments from a CNBC interview reported by Bravo in 2019, Cohen called a Rolex a “major splurge.” He said his friend John Mayer, a watch collector, encouraged him to buy a more expensive watch than he had originally planned to purchase. The report gives no price for the watch.
New York apartments
Cohen described buying an apartment, purchasing another in the same building to create a duplex, and then buying another apartment. In January 2023, Bravo reported that he said on the December 2022 Table for Two with Bruce Bozzi podcast that he was focused on “figuring out [his] real estate.” He had discussed a new New York apartment and completing a Hamptons beach house.
Rank #2
A Hamptons beach house
Bravo reported in June 2023 that the Hamptons house was finished and Cohen was preparing for his first summer there. Neither report establishes the property’s purchase price, current value or ongoing costs.
First-class flights—and the subway
Cohen said he enjoys traveling and prefers to fly first class. But he also said he takes the subway in New York because he finds it faster, and regards using a car there as a waste of money, time and gas. The contrast shows choices he has publicly described; it does not establish how often he travels or what he spends.

Its later reports cover his real-estate comments in January 2023 and the completed beach house in June 2023.

A 2026 Good Housekeeping search result relayed Celebrity Net Worth estimates of about $50 million in net worth and $10 million a year for hosting WWHL. Those are secondary estimates, not figures substantiated by financial records or a direct disclosure in the sources cited here. In particular, the annual hosting estimate should not be presented as Cohen’s confirmed salary.

The cited sources do not verify his Bravo compensation, production income, radio earnings, book royalties, real-estate values, assets, debts or total net worth. Without those figures, the anecdotes about purchases cannot be used to calculate a fortune, and the announced contract terms cannot be translated into earnings. Good Housekeeping’s 2026 coverage repeats the estimates but does not make them verified financial disclosures.
