What are GlīderM and Rāden?
GlīderM
GlīderM is one of Glīd’s road-to-rail vehicle platforms. In its October 27, 2025 report, TechCrunch described it as a hybrid-electric vehicle intended to pick up and move 20-foot containers directly to rail. Glīd’s website, accessed October 8, 2026, instead describes GlīderM as a diesel baseline. Those descriptions differ, so the available information does not support treating either as a definitive, complete specification.
Rāden
Glīd’s website describes Rāden as a hybrid-electric platform for autonomous, defense, and contested-logistics uses. EZRA-1SIX
Glīd describes EZRA-1SIX as a real-time orchestration platform. In the company’s stated model, the software coordinates vehicle operations and related logistics functions rather than selling a vehicle as a standalone consumer product.

TechCrunch also reported a $35 million post-money valuation, a 14-person startup, and a founder-stated commercial price of a $300,000 annual subscription plus $0.08 per ton-mile. Glīd’s website displays estimates of 60–75% lower CO₂ per ton-mile, 2–3× infrastructure-utilization ROI, and 30–40% operational-cost ROI. The reviewed website material does not establish a study, comparison baseline, geography, or publication date for those figures. They are company-displayed claims, not demonstrated outcomes.
TechCrunch reported relationships with four short-line railroads, the Port of Woodland, Taylor Transport, and Great Plains Industrial Park. The sources do not establish the current status or scope of those relationships.
